Not yet. Wigan only have 35.I can see them losing at The Emirates and I am not convinced they will beat The Swans either. They could end up with 36 or 37.

I could give a **** what you're "convinced" about CT. Concentrate on turning your inconsiderable "analytical skills" to your own team. You've not stopped talking **** about Wigan for weeks!

If it's you, us or Sunderland who drop it's all thanks to the FA for doing sweet FA about McManaman's foul on Haidara. He should be banned but instead his goals have secured 3 points for Wigan in the last 2 games.

He scored against Spurs, I think that means he's got us 4 points in the last two games, not 3. And don't forget that he scored the second goal against Millwall when we were under pressure in the semi final too, so he got us a final place as well.

I don't know what your problem is.I can't recall having ever posted on the Wigan board so I'm not sure what you are doing on here.As far as I am concerned you are welcome to post what you like.i would point out though,to you,and others the following. 1 Wigan have had some huge chunks of luck in recent weeks especially compared to Norwich and Newcastle 2 Luck doesn't only work one way and it may run out for you yet.
 
we are not safe yet , we will Probably stay up , but if we lose to Sunderland I will really worry . think you will stay up .

Well the guardian seems to think Newcastle are more at risk than us
I'm not so sure, depends which qpr turns up
The goal difference is going to be incredibly tight for sure
 
The spotlight turns on the Stadium of Light tonight.Stoke on 40 points are still in this.Any defeat heavier than one goal would move Sunderland above them but a point would mean that Wigan (Sorry HP but they are relevant to this) would need more than two wins to reach them.So Pulis will want the draw.Then it turns to....oh no! I'm obsessed with yon Pie Eaters.....

Ah **** off man, he is concentrating on his own team, he is also keeping a close eye on the teams around his team, which includes your club wigan and their pathetic supporters, which includes you. Are you the only member on your board? It wouldn't surprise me, as yous only have a handful of fans, anyway I hope yous go down, and then go down again, like wolves

The Fourteen Games That Count:

May 6th Sunderland v Stoke :Until their visit to Villa park everyone was convinced that the Mackems were fighting their way clear of trouble.That reverse has rather set things back a bit for PDC's Black Cats.They might be satisfied with a draw tonight.It would be enough to move them up to fifteenth spot.Victory by more than one goal would see them leap to eleventh on 40 points.

May 7th Wigan v Swansea :Three points would move Wigan onto 38.If they are held to a draw they remain in 18th with an away game at The Emirates up next.Genuinely a must win,anything less and they probably need to beat Villa on the last day.

May 11th Villa v Chelsea : Logic tells you that a point at home to Chelsea would be a good result and on 41 it would probably be enough.Get nothing and the last day trip to Wigan takes on extra significance.

May 12th Stoke v Spurs: Depending on their result at Sunderland Stoke may be safe or right back in it.Not a good prospect with Spurs looking for points for a Champions League spot.

Fulham v Liverpool: The home side on 40points are on the cusp of safety,again depends on how other results have gone.

Norwich v WBA : Norwich really need three points with Man City coming up.One could do though depending on Wigan.

QPR v Newcastle : Geordie nerves jangling with Arsenal at home last game.Pretty much a must win match against 'arry's side who may be motivated by the desire not to finish bottom.

Sunderland v Soton :Another six pointer.If Sunderland have beaten Stoke then a draw may well suit both. Although in that case Saints home game to Stoke on the last day could be crucial.

Tuesday 14th Arsenal v Wigan: The fly in Wigan's survival ointment.Arsenal may need the points for Champion's League qualification and Wigan with a tired and possibly weakened team might sustain GD damage that could be crucial.

Sunday 19th:Man City v Norwich: City almost certainly won't have anything to play for.Odds strongly on a home win.Could be a rerun of last season v QPR .Norwich's best chance may be to park the bus and go for a trademark Hughton 0-0.

Newcastle v Arsenal :Geordies not much better off than Norwich with this fixture but they could sneak something.If they have not beaten QPR it might be tough.

Southampton v Stoke :Another potential six pointer where both sides need a result,or a draw could be enough for both if Stoke don't lose to Sunderland.

Spurs v Sunderland :Again Black Cats need to be safe before this one.Spurs will want the points for Champions League.

Wigan v Villa: Could see Villa needing a point and Wigan needing all three.In which case something's got to give
 
It looks like I'm going to be supporting Arsenal over the next few weeks then! I think they're unbeaten in something like 2 months, so fingers crossed they can keep that going. Absolutely crucial that we at least match Newcastle's result at the weekend.
 
my team are not out of it, but it would take a lot of results to go against us, if I was a Norwich fan I would be very worried, what could be there saviour wigan play Tuesday and then the cup final, how many players will put it in when there is a cup final round the corner, I can see a draw tomorrow, but Norwich still need to beat west brom
 
That's how most con tricks work,you convince people of something and they start to believe it.Wigan won at West Brom despite their performance,not because of it.They have had massive slices of luck against Newcastle,QPR and to an extent us.the thing about luck though is that it has to turn at some point.Tonight against Swansea would be as good a time as any.
 
Even without Michu, I think Swansea's possession game could make it difficult for Wigan. Much will depend on their frame of mind, though, given that they are already safe. Wigan's injuries could also play a part as their matches start to pile up.
