I'm off to Puncehstown tomorrow myself and am strongly taking on Make Your Mark with Vics Canvas 15/2. Although I do rate BB's selection as a danger, Vics Canvas has been very progressive since returning from a long spell on the sidelines and has some really strong form to his name. Comfortably beat Rogue Angel by 20L who was runner up in a handicap hurdle during the week and stepped up on the performance again when running extremely well behind the very progressive Dressedtothenines (rated 130 that day) who beat Zaidpour in a Grade 2 subsequently. The 3rd Rye Martini franked the form very strongly when winning a Hurdle race against much higher rated opponents yesterday and Vics Canvas is only 4lb higher than that run. Favourite The Paparazzi Kid was well behind that day and is only 2lb better off so I don't see the form being reversed. He unseated LTO at the 6th when still going well and if continuing progression I think he'll take an awful lot of beating.

Your summary looks good to me, Roto. I 've had a bet on him and think the improving Fahamore could be the danger. I just hope he doesn't give me the same 'heart attack' my other two bets gave me at Punchestown this week- a wacking bet on Followmeuptocarlow @14/1 (whatever happened to him on the run-in?) and a smaller bet on Goonyella yesterday (I was walking away from the telly when he finally got a mention over the last).

A few for me today:

MR 2.30 cool baranca
Leic 2.10 admiralofthesea
San 4.55 fire ship

SMP - any news on that tip from your good source?

Just passing on some info, Parisian Melody worth an ew bet at 33s at ripon. 'shes nice horse not saying it will win first time out but more than capable of winning'. May come to nothing but good luck if you play, small ew for me.

Yep, it's sticking alright.....

Stick/BostonBob: Good luck with your selections. Have chucked just a few shekels at them, not too many as I'll surely mogador them. Already have? Sorry............

Using one of my free bets from Boyle Sports and going with the forum picks on an ambitious £10ew accy- Al Kazeem, Sanctuaire, Make Your Mark and Oscar Tanner.

SMP- any news on the horse you had a word for this weekend? Cheers.

There's a shocking echo in here today!

Haven't posted for ages but have been looking in and admiring the tipping.

What about Fallon on Snow Trooper at Ripon today (2.20)?

Another Mullins benefit day by the looks of it -

Going small accums with

Shakervilz / Aupcharlie / On His own / Tarla / Dikali / Make Your Mark

Al Kazeem will take all the beating if ready today, also Two for Two caught my eye lto and he can improve on his 2nd lto in the 2.20 at Ripon. I've also sided with Finians Rainbow in the Celebration chase, his run lto suggests he is back and well aftet his wind op as it usually takes a few runs to get back to normal.

Goodluck folks.

TATANIANO (NAP) 25/1 E.W 2.40 Sandown Fancy him to bounce back to form today. Think he shaped a lot better than the result suggests in the Champion Chase and paid the price for being close to the pace with MDB, Sprinter Sacre and Sizing Europe whereas Wishfull Thinking and Sanctuaire sat out the back playing for place money. Will love the ground <ok>

I fancied Away We Go in the Irish National but this looks a much better race and hes a quarter the price, the better ground wont be a problem and if he travels the way he did at Fairyhouse I can see him running well but I wont be touching the race.

Just hope Al Kazeem is about 80%, they have given him plenty of time and I know Charlton hasnt started training his horses yet and he will come on for the run but he has too much speed and class for these plodders on a bad day.

Just noticed two horses at Punchestown that I fancied last time and look well handicapped, Summer Star 14/1 and My Murphy 5/1, so its 3 bets for me now <diva>

I've been off the air for a few days and discovered last night that there were a few problems, including duplicate posts. Another one I noticed was that I couldn't get to the last page of posts but I understand this occurs when there is just one post on the last page. I don't know what's caused the problems but there is plenty of discussion on the Mods' board so I'll check that out and come back with any worthwhile news.
