Obviously the top 6 sides are nailed on, Villa and Everton though? I don't see why Sunderland or/and Newcastle Can't challenge them if we spend wisely.
I know Europe get's thrown about like an insult on here, let's be honest though, club's our size should be competing there regularly.

Spot on mate.

Why shouldn't we?

Bigger crowds than both.

Richer owners than both (borderline with Villa, but still fact)

Absolutely we should be competing with these sides.

I'll settle for top 10 and a decent run in a cup next ear, but i want to see consistency and i want to see players focused and committed.

I don't think this is too much to ask from clubs of our size, we should both, absolutely, be top 8 clubs.

Seems like the right place, congrats on the top 10 finish and all that. Head to head, we're the better side this season but that counts for nowt since you've finished above us. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed. Given the **** we got off your lot that we'd be getting relegated, I'd say 1 point behind wasn't too bad at our first attempt back in the big time. Enjoy the bragging rights, you's deserve them.

I only wish fellow Toon fans wouldn't go giving it the biggun all the time. Hopefully they'll learn their lesson the hard way (like your lot did) and wait until it's actually over. Even though it wasn't all of us that did it, it makes us all look like ****s anyway.

Let's hope it's as close next season, but maybe the other way on.
