Kanoute is class, still now even.

He's phenomenal in the air, but it's true to say he has less pace than a 1.0 Nissan Micra pulling a ferry.

I agree, i wouldn't be against this in any way.

32 isn't too old anymore, he has 2 years in him.

    1997–2000 Lyon 58 (9)
    2000–2003 West Ham United 84 (29)
    2003–2005 Tottenham Hotspur 60 (14)
    2005– Sevilla 172 (81)

    Season 2010-11 - League 17 games, 8 goals.
    Cup 4 games, 3 goals
    Europa 7 games, 5 goals.

    Impressive stuff.

    I agree.

Gyan could play off Kanoute, he's exceptional in the air.

Dare i say 'Quinn-esque', great in the air, tidy feet, and a decent goalscorer to boot.

    I'm all for this one.

Interesting, however if we were to take advantage of his prowess in the air we need players who can cross a ball, preferably from near the dead ball line. We don't have overlapping fullbacks and we cannot deliver a decent deadball so further signings need to be made with this in mind. Larsson is supposed to be great at crosses and deadballs, Hutton at rightback(?) and what about a leftback. (Lovers of Mc Bardsley please don't slate me.)
    Any ideas?

In the search for a LB (if we're even searching for one), i suggest we hold fire. It would appear Clichy is to leave Arsenal. Before you all jump on me, i'm not suggesting we go for Clichy. However, Arsenal have been strongly linked with Baines and should they sign him, where does that leave Gibbs? Clichy leaves and they bring in a big name signing, Gibbs has to think he's not going to get his chance. Go for Gibbs.
