Here's hoping Man U stuff Villa by about 5 or 6 tonight. :)

Knowing our luck though, Man U will have an awful game and let Villa grab points from them. <grr>

I'll be hoping for this too. On the flip side though - can you imagine the mood in Wigan if Villa pull off a shock win? A six point gap would open up and in the past teams have collapsed once there was daylight between them and safety. Then again its Wigan we're talking about so I'd prefer to play safe and hope Villa get smashed!

Exactly. If they both keep losing we are safe. I don't care which one from Wigan and Villa go down, so long one of them does (and we do not).
It's just a pity it's unlikely they will both go down, as that would be ideal.

I'm amazed at your season to be honest, last season you looked a proper team playing good stuff. You appeared to strengthen yet played worse. its weird ol game football. Two of my best mates are geordies, one from newcastle the other newton aycliffe.. <ok>


I'm going to buy burgers on my way home and cook burger chips, and get a few desperado's to consume whilst watching the game.
