Worrying really - isn't it.

That leaves us with a core squad of;

Butland & Tommy.
Shawx, Huth, Cameron
Wilson, Nzonzi, Brek
Jerome, Crouch, Jones

I would like to see Adam, Palcious and Pennant retained (and played) and the inroduction of a winger and 2 proper full backs. I think that would be a string squad that managed right would get results.

Begovic move may be off according to this -

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footb...631?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter

He's a keeper: Manchester United's David De Gea forces Fergie to shelve Asmir Begovic move
5 Apr 2013 17:30

Champions-elect were eyeing the Stoke goalie but Fergie praises the way Spaniard "has developed and matured as the season has gone on"

Manchester United's move for Asmir Begovic of Stoke is off because David De Gea is playing so well - Mirror Online

David De Gea's superb form for Manchester United this season has persuaded Sir Alex Ferguson that he now DOESN'T need to recruit a new No.1 goalkeeper this summer.

Champions-elect United have been linked with a move for Stoke's Asmir Begovic, amid doubts over De Gea after an erratic first season at Old Trafford, despite the Spaniard's huge potential.

But De Gea, still only 22, has stepped his game up a level this season - he has not conceded a goal in the Premier League for 627 minutes, keeping six clean sheets in a row.

Reds boss Ferguson was quick to praise his defenders for overcoming their early-season problems when they conceded a glut of goals and looked vulnerable in every game.

But the Scot also singled out De Gea for his improved form, and warned the rest of the Premier League that the young Spaniard will be even better next season.

“They have all improved,” said Ferguson of his back-line. “The concentration has become better and the importance of the games has helped that.

“But you’re right, David De Gea has developed and matured as the season has gone on.

“Once again he had an excellent game the other day at Stamford Bridge.

“We’ve seen a very progressive and developing young goalkeeper and next season he’ll be even better.

Ahead of Monday's Manchester derby against City at Old Trafford, De Gea himself said: “I’m feeling well, in good shape and I’m at ease on the pitch.

“I’ve played a lot of matches, but I get plenty of rest at home.

“I’m more confident and feel I’m playing consistently because I’ve had a prolonged run in the team. But training well and having a good mental attitude brings its rewards.

“Everything you put in, you get out. That is what you’re seeing now. I’m very happy with how I’m playing.”
Consecutive clean sheets this season

De Gea, Man United 6 (Feb 2-Present)

Hart, Man City 4 (Jan 1-29)

Reina, Liverpool 3 (Oct 7-Nov 25)

Cech, Chelsea 3 (Aug 25-Sep 22)

Hart, Man City 3 (Nov 17-28)

Ruddy, Norwich 3 (Nov 3-17)

Lloris, Tottenham 3 (Dec 16-26)

And who is the manager! Every season that goes by and we see players with talent either go backwards or ruin their careers at Stoke, will surely affect potential players coming to Stoke in the future.

A lot will depend on where we are next season..

With regards to a new Manager Gus Poyet or Di Matteo would suit me fine.. they could actually PLAY football Pulis didn't.. simple innit. And, the players might just learn something. Begovic ? 13 million or go do one Fulham.

Begovic, Shotton, Whelan & Whitehead for £13m?

There's no way that Begovic is worth £28m... ;)

Quite right you are Surlyc
Pulis is that stupid he would give you a refund on the other 3. IMO there not worth 3 Million in total.. Shotton is useless, Whelan is hopless and Whitehead is wreckless.

Arsenal have opening preliminary talks with us, some saying they are willing to match the £15 million quoted by us to them, Man U and Liverpool.

Also Di Matteo has rejected Leeds "for a bigger role" (us), Roberto PLEASE COME!!!!

I'd take that too Stoke97 Di Matteo and if Arsenal want Begovic I'd ask double that, just because it's Wenger and he doesn't like us.
