I think Remy would be a decent signing for someone in the PL but he is too similar to Sturridge and we just don't need two of the same players in the squad. We need variety in our squad. Remy won't really add anything more than Sturridge does at the moment. There are slight differences in their strengths and abilities but not enough to justify having both in our squad.

Good to hear but didn't your reporter mate say we were nailed on the land Ince too? Not questioning his knowledge / info (keep it coming) but just pointing out that nothing is 100% until the doted line is signed whilst the fat lady sings <ok>

I never say that anyone is 'nailed on' as my mate doesn't. I can only pass on who our definite targets are. Sorry to confuse <laugh> As I said, he has confirmed that Suarez has made no noise whatsoever about leaving, but who knows what will happen.

The other thing he said was Carroll back to Newkie for Ben Arfa + 8 million. Mind you, he did give me two tips for the National and neither came anywhere. That said, the same thing happens every year. When I pick my own horses, I usually get a result of some form or another. If I'd known that one of the owners of the winner was a Scouser, I'd certainly have had some each-way action on it <grr>

Rafa: "I will return to Liverpool one day, almost certainly. What I do not know is when. My daughters and wife still live there."

Time is running out though rafa!

rafa will have a uefa cup and fa cup after this season in his pocket.. i suppose it'd be more realsitic for him to take over utd than everton and lead them to no 21.

Is there a FA rule stating he can't manage both at the same time?

He likes to be in charge of all levels of the club... he could manage the main club and the feeder club at the same time.

Indeed...

though in many ways if we apply henry speak.... everton are the minors and utd are the majors... you just end players out to the minors.... the thing is none of those guys ever made it back to the majors. in moenyball terms utd have certainly missed a trick.

Rafa could run utd just fine... just like agent rafa should... into the ground

Good signing? From what I've seen of him he looks a player and totally wasted at QPR . £8million release clause (Borini £8 million? ). Feel he would be well worth considering.
