Why shouldn't teams ground share? It would make a lot of sense in so many ways. But we are too insular and parochial to consider it here. The thought of two rivals having the same ground is abhorrent to many. We all buy into history and tradition more than we are prepared to let on.
Why would they change it back to Woolwich? That's not their original name. Dial Square, Royal Arsenal, Woolwich Arsenal, nearly merged with Fulham, then became Arsenal, then benefited from Man Utd and Liverpool fixing a game. never mind,i'm always doing that, reading posts wrong,my problem is, i read it to fast, not that i can't read
Ta very much! I think he was going on about it changing from Wolwich Arsenal to Arsenal 99 years ago today or something - it was small print in the wider picture of annoying Arsenal fans And it was Liverpool Needs regenerating badly.
Can Ronaldo nick Messi's thunder this week? He's put Real ahead against Galatasaray, but I guess they're expected to stroll through this tie.
He's worked out that Arsenal fans react to any wind up that he puts out there, so they can guarantee calls and airtime with minimal effort. Fairly unsophisticated WUMing, basically.
Yeah but I quite enjoy it To be fair he argues a point that most wouldn't, to generate debate. He's rude but I think he's alright.
Wait til he starts suggesting that you should go back to your roots, play in blue and change your name back to Everton Athletic!
So Essien was surplus to requirements at Chelsea but gets a CL semifinal berth for RM..... Have to say that I thought his best days were long behind him, but just wondering if a player with his record over the last 2/3 seasons would get a look in if the manager didn't know him so well. Has he been reborn or is this a case of nepotism?? He's doing a pretty good job so far however.
lol oh good. To be fair he's okay to us which is amazing because we've been an easy target for the past 3/4 years. He has a section called "The Daily Arsenal" where he raises a point about Arsenal which is usually amusing. He ran a Liverpool one for around a week or so about "the nations dieing institution - a once great club" which hammered us for a little bit
Is he stealing material from HIAG? Real's bench tonight: Adan, Pepe, Marcelo, Arbeloa, Kaka, Modric, Higuain. Impressive.
Just had a decent chance to score. If you're going to go around picking out ex-Arsenal players that've gone onto better things, then you'll be here all night.
