As it requires contributors to think, be able to write, and to have the mental capacity to turn on & operate a computer, it certainly is!..
I have often wondered if the change to the points system, from 2 points for a win to 3 points for a win,has helped any other team but Man U? I remember it was changed to stop teams going to away games and parking the bus every away game. I wonder how many championships it has won for united compared to the rest?
Lazio lost their bottle (and then some) at Fener - lost 2-0, five bookings, one sending off, generally got battered...and if their fans kicked off in any way, they'd get the full Midnight Express treatment. Spurs old boy Reto Ziegler even helped put Lazio to the sword!
the chav's obsession with us has started again on their board, with about 5 thread's or more about us.
Read who they're all by though. Don't bite like HIAG does and they'll stop. Most of us are too busy worrying about our own busy schedule and potentially screwing up top 4 to worry about what you do. Sunderland this week is like Swansea was for you. Anything but a win and top 4 is unlikely.
He's been misquoted, some scum journo clearly wanted to get a story. He talked about Di Canio as a player and his time at Charlton, whole transcript is here: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2013/apr/05/john-terry-paolo-di-canio Of all the times to lambast Terry, this certainly isn't one
Haven't, bitten haven't really read any except the one saying is Torres the new Greaves,'aveing a laugh, who ever started that must be in the local nut-house
Over here, we jokingly claim the honour of making FIFA change a win to 3 points, after the 1990 WC. We made it to the Q/F without winning a game (5 played) and scoring only 2 goals. It had to be changed though in fairness. The format they used then, could make it possible to win the world cup without winning a match or scoring a goal (barring penno shootouts). The passback rule was changed around that time too IIRC.
The back-pass rule was changed and, coincidentally, a certain team on Merseyside stopped winning titles overnight.
It has helped every team that has won the league since it`s introduction equally as they have all received 3 points for every win. If however you are suggesting it has helped United more because they tend to attack more than any other team when playing away from home then yes, you are probably right.
They used to play for draws too before they changed to 3 points. They had hairy gorilla defenders and used to rely on a forward to score a goal....... Oh! the good old days!
So, no one else caught on to this 3 points for a win thing then eh? shame on them, relying on forwards to score goals
