What is the question?

Ok so I've been chatting with some of our mods and some of the Mancs about people being banned from our board.

Some feel the bans are harsh and that we are to quick to ban anyone with and alternative point of view. I disagree and think that some bans are justified but also agree that maybe others were a bit harsh.

It seems that there are lots of different opinions on this subject but at the end of the day this board is for Liverpool fans, so all of us.

If all the people banned were allowed to post on here again then it may cause work for our mods banning them all over again but it may also spark some good debate.

What are the general thoughts from members of the board, would a ban amnesty be a good thing or just a really bad idea that drives actual Liverpool supporters from the board?

Of course there will be a poll in a moment.
 
Depends who and why!

Old 606 was rediculous with people wumming the board trying to bait people.

I've seen very little problem here... the ribbing seems fun and most people are otherwise respectful...

...that could be because the real trouble-makerz are banned of course.
 
Think anyone who has mocked a disaster in the past should stay banned, that's bang out that is (I understand that it was very out if the blue for NOF so maybe he could be reconsidered) and posters like Ben Arfa should stay banned, as should HIAG cause he'll WUM the **** out of us <laugh>

Posters such as Sweats and Ruff should probably be given second chances <ok>
 
Oh God imagine HIAG unbanned <laugh> I'm with that Enricky fella, unban everyone bar the people who have mocked disasters and stop being so precious!
 
I have no issue with having a clean slate but I think the board needs to be in agreement about certain individuals, for example there is no point in letting matth come back only to be slaughtered by all and sundry (please note, this is only an example, matth is not allowed on the site at all nowadays anyway)
 
Well, for what it's worth I say ban all the buggers. With very few exceptions their sole intent on posting on our board is to rile posters. From the HIAG type of wum to Swarbs (who believes that a eulogy for LFC or Liverpool player would be to damn them with feint praise) its all really the same.
 
And if bans were to be lifted, us mods would need a list of who to unban, you can't expect the mods to sit and work it out <ok>

Again, when everything went tits upa few weeks back many said problem was the mancs and others derailing, wumming, etc. This is all of our board as LG alluded to so make sure you are sure with your thoughts and decision!
