ffs seriously some people here are acting like little kids trying to flount the rules ..
how about listening to the authorities .. not giving them an excuse for a Yorkshire post article and just chilling out
they are doing their job ... its what they are paid to do .... let them do it
the article today about our flare loving fan sums it up ... the minority have spoilt it historically for most fans ,,,, and he deserved what he got ..
guys .. get out of the 80's and just accept that football now is a family friendly sport and the whole "tribal" thing is a thing of the past

Another one in favour of a ground like a morgue? Ironic from someone who names himself after a track (admittedly one stolen from others like so many they did) from one of the loudest bands.
Yes, let us all listen to the authorities. Like they did under Hitler and Stalin?
honestly the more I read into some of this **** is that all I see is a bunch of middle aged men and younger guys using this as an excuse to try and "go against the grain" ... ffs grow up and get on with it .. you know the rules .. they wont change .. either put up or shut up
Rules aren't the law. And rules get bent and altered all the time. If they didn't we would still be living like we did decades ago.
Thank heaven everyone is not like your we wouldn't have many of the things we take for granted nowadays as nobody would have for them altered, they would have just shrugged and said rules is rules, there is nothing we can do about it. Kids up chimneys, no unions, paid holidays, votes for all. Let's be grateful to those who go against the grain.
hang on a minute .. thought this was a football match .. not general government ? ... or is this your "escape" to go against the grain ?
seriously .. get your life in prespective .. when I played for under 16's Gb team we had all sorts of rules and regs we had to follow .. its the laws of the game ... and no matter how loud you shout on a forum it will not change
Kids up chimneys <--- rightfully stopped , no unions <--- absolute plague on our country atm ... too much power , paid holidays <--- anyone who has any decent job gets them , votes for all <--- no brainer

Interesting how you took great effort to 'crowbar' that into your answer. I find little things like that are quite revealing.Kids up chimneys <--- rightfully stopped , no unions <--- absolute plague on our country atm ... too much power , paid holidays <--- anyone who has any decent job gets them , votes for all <--- no brainer
Challenging percieved injustice and stupid practice often contributes to progress.
Many are apathetic hence the ability of the haves to effectively ring fence the top earning professions for their own. They let us enthuse and rant over football whilst making sure the lions share of the money and power stay in the same hands.Unfortunately by means of the Daily Mail/Express they can stir up enough hatred against other groups to distract from what is actually going on.
Check out the percentage of public school kids who become hospital consultants, cabinet ministers, high ranking(therefore influential)members of the legal sytem.
If you are thinking-"well we all knew that".Well the top selling music charts stars and olympic medallists(you guessed it)
It is good to protest and not just put up with" it".
My dad was regularly beaten up 50 years ago for daring to fight for his rights .He is very small. It did not stop him and he helped to improve conditions for ordinary people-decent pay, safer working conditions.None of these were likely to be offered without some oik kicking off.I am not a socialist but I feel more sympathy for some of the Daily Mail scroungers than I do for the smug fat cats who carve up our dosh amongst themselves.
WYP have made a mistake in deciding this is a high risk game(based on analysis of the previous fixtures I presume)
And do you think we would have got things like paid holidays if I wasn't for unions. Your statement anyone with a decent job gets them is stupid. They wouldn't have done without people and unions fighting for them. You don't realise what a relatively modern phenomenon having more than one weeks holiday is.
Votes for all wouldn't have happened if everyone was like you and had gone around wringing their hands and saying it was pointless trying to change things because rules are rules and you can't change them. Travelling away wouldn't be an issue simply because you would be working Saturday mornings, if not all day Saturday. Even in the fifties and sixties a lot of people worked Saturday mornings as part of a normal working week. Midweek games were on a Thursday afternoon because that many people had that afternoon off and worked on a Saturday.
