Beefy's Corner.......For all off Topic threads

The old thread has reached a 1000+ replies so it's time for a new one to be launched. So, without further ado, I name this thread Beefy's Corner [again]. Here's the bit from the last one...

The official Off Topic Chat Thread now known as "Beefy's Corner".

Firstly, the normal rules of the site apply. You cannot start a discussion about contentious issues, Politics, Religion, or show Porn Etc. The flip side of this arrangement is that there will be a much stricter enforcement of the "no going off topic" rule which has always been the case anyway, on the other threads.

Secondly, the normal rules of the Saints board will apply, (except that you can go off-topic obviously). This is not going to become a "private GC Lite." Personal insults will not be tolerated, and neither will goading someone to draw them out. The whole tone of this board has suffered in the past as differing views have been aired and there have been far too many angry exchanges. Vitriolic exchanges are not welcome and will be dealt with as appropriate. If you have fallen out with a poster put him on your ignore list and don't rise to the bait!
If you see content which is not appropriate, please send the mods a PM rather than fronting up the poster and let us deal with it to save a bun-fight. Lastly, if a thread is closed or deleted by one of the Mods, and you have some good reason that it should reopen, then send us a PM with your reasons. Simply re-posting the same thread again to be confrontational would be considered very provocative and would probably lead to action being taken.

It would seem that large numbers of posts and subjects causes problems for mobile phone users to access this site.
So from time to time it will be necessary to close the threads down and start a new one.
We need you guys to let us know when the site becomes difficult to access so that we do not change over unnecessarily.

Yep, the snow's been falling solidly for well over 12 hours.

 

The rain has finally stopped in Southampton. I don't know when it did. I was just sat working on something when I noticed an absence of the pitter-patter noise. Now it is just a fairly light cloud cover.

I had 67 posts in the last one. I have no idea whether that's a lot or a little. It seems like a fair few, given that there were 1035 in total, making my input about 6.5% of the total.

 

Rained a couple of hours ago here, but it isn't at the moment.

You came 5th behind Joe, RSS, me and Beefy. Despite it being his corner, he's not finished top three once.

 

Well I got 7 last time, so I'm thinking maybe 11 this time and possibly up to 12 on the one after.

I think 15 is my ceiling though.

Well it's almost 10 times as many as I made so I'd say a lot.

 

Why it's not my corner I'll never know.

Don't know how I get such a high number of posts as I don't bother when the topic is gaming, vampire movies, music or women.
