Pathetic. Thats when you know you've lost the argument. Its almost as sad as the Streamer who couldn't us beating his all conquering Spurs that he has banned any airing any other future Liverpool games. I helped him pick all his toys up.
Whats the cut off then? 2 years? 3 years? before something is past glories. I imagine to favour Spurs the cut-off will be from whenever the stopped fighting relegation. Are we allowed to talk about the League Cup which we won last season or is that just "history" now too. **** it, lets just say the day after you win a trophy that thats enough, shut up about it, its "past glories". Just remember though that you like to talk about being better than us in the League the last 3 seasons. Are any of them now "history" too?
He has a point. Not that Alonso has been replaced, nowhere near, and Gerrard is getting close to his sell by date too. Suarez aside (odious maybe, brilliant definitely) the cupboard looks pretty bare.
So if you don't he'll be doing the Frank Bough? I hear him being described by some scousers as the third best behind Messi and Ronaldo; Surely that would mean he is bound to leave if he doesn't get CL football? As glorious as your history is, if his agent gets an offer that is going to buy him a new Lamborghini and a house on Lake Como, then young Luis is packing his toothbrush... View attachment 22157
Because were not really in debt as its money FSG put in but its listed as "debt" as an accounting trick. Its interest free and they don't expect it back until they sell. It seems when news of our accounts was published no-one besides Liverpool fans actually read the whole article where all this is made clear. That so called debt will be much reduced anyway because all the massive sponsorships that FSG sealed with Standard Chartered, Chevrolet and Warrior don't appear on the accounts until next season. Its basically the same as Ambramovic does with his own money its just FSG have only put in £50m. Basically, if anyone read that article about our "debt" and got a boner thinking it was going to be H&G mkII couldn't be more wong. As Ian Ayre said its of no concern in the grand scheme of things. If your going to make arguments like that you could at least make sure you actually read about it and get the facts right. Unless you were doing it on purpose to suit your agenda which is always a possibility with Mancs.
I don't think anyone's denied that you'll finish above us again at somepoint it's just that your fans have been claiming that it would happen in each of the last 3 seasons and we've rightly felt offended that you think you could overtake us by signing Carroll, Henderson and the like. This is why we laugh at you lot, as I've explained and your posts have only exemplified what I've been saying all along. What on Earth are you on about? Very unlikely though, isn't it?
We are the neutrals. There's no historic enmity between Spurs and Liverpool, is there? And this is the attitude that people don't like. It's also very dangerous for the club. Teams largely end up where they deserve to be, based upon hard work, skill and being intelligently run. Where you used to be or think that you should be are irrelevant. Look at Swansea.
Rumour has it that many Liverpool fans take it too well, either! The main historical thing that anyone could point to would be Liverpool's role in Arsenal's promotion that screwed us and your mob nearly 100 years ago, DL. Most people aren't even aware of that though and those that are don't seem to give a crap (including me).
You mean when Liverpool and United colluded with each other to fix that match and promoted Arsenal as a favour to Norris?
Yep, that's the one. Fairly ironic that Man Utd would've been relegated had they lost that game, so Liverpool kept them up. As none of the clubs have ever been punished for it, I think that it's only fair that they're all relegated now and their trophies since are removed. It's only fair.
But, we don't "like to take about being better" than you, not in the past tense. We like to talk about how we are better than you, full-stop.
This is bloody hilarious! You've got to work out what you're going to do with your stable of donkeys, first, Tool65. You can't sell them, because you'll make incredible losses, and there'll be no money to spend on new players. Not that there appears to have been that much money in the kitty, this season. You really don't get it, do you? 'Pool is a team in crisis (so far as its "glory days" are concerned). You'll lose Suarez, and with the budget that your owner will permit you, you'll settle down to being a decent mid-table side for a decade or two. Most fans (of teams in the lower divisions) would accept that, but you deluded 'Pool fans won't, and you'll be crying out for manager after manager to be sacked as he fails to live up to your unrealistic expectations, season in and season out.
