I think if someone asked Bruce the same question his answer would be one of far greater confidence of his future.

Wasn't it The Sun, who were also first to report on Sven's dismissal?

Personally, I hope you don't sack Nige now, as it could see a rise in form, like at Barnsley. Whereas, keeping him on in current form could see you finish 8th/9th.

It was the Suns online site.

Don't even think it made it into their paper <laugh>

Can you tell me why you think this? Because I for one think you're talking out your arse, again.

We'll see.

Personally, I get the impression that your owners don't think Nigel's up to the job, so he's on borrowed time. He signs good players, but that's largely down to Walshy and once signed, he's not that great at knowing what to do with them(he has absolutely no plan B, though if it makes you feel any better, I don't think Bruce does either).

He alienates players and he alienates fans, that's not a great way to manage a club, though I hope I'm wrong and he stays in charge for many years to come. <ok>

How do you get an impression the owners? <laugh>

They never come out and speak.

It's always top notch entertainment to hear Nige's interviews after a defeat, at least it when he's not not your manager ...

Why would I be obsessed with a soon-to-be midtable Championship outfit with no manager?

How did the interviewer act like a knob? He seemed frank and honest to me, asking sensible questions that fans would want him to ask?

Interviewer: "Do you feel your job is at risk?"

Pearson: "I've got no idea."

Oh yes, he seems dead certain of his future. <laugh>

<laugh> Do you understand the absolute irony of this comment?

Brilliant!

Nigel did a good job for us with what he had to work with - and whatever reasons he gave for leaving at the time, it boiled down to how much cash he was going to get paid. Put simply, he whored himself to the highest bidder - LCFC in this case.

I think most sensible people said when you accept the cash he accepted, success was vital. Now it's not happening he's on his way. That is football

Don't feel sorry for Nige - he will have plenty of cash whilst he sits at home. Maybe when he's next approached about a job, he will be less concerned about the cash and more about the backing/support he will get from above.

As for your next manager - you need someone who has a track record of success in this division and is available. How about Phil Brown<whistle>

How about Iain Dowie as temporary "Football Management Consultant"?

Phil Brown would get you promoted next year-by a considerable margin.
Much maligned but skilfull given the resources.
If he had stayed I think we would still be in the prem

How about you and TigerinSydney partake in a game of 'bollock conkers' with a heavy, tabasco dipped, ballbearing wrapped in barbed wire? ... you never know, if it takes off, it might even make the shortlist of new sports for the next olympics ..

I don't buy into this.

He clearly wasn't liked at Hull and as soon as Leicester came bidding he was off.

He loves it down here.

I can't believe the great big Jessie feels the need to be loved where he works.

Has a haircut like an Action Man, he should have one like a Cindy Doll or Barbie the fooking fairy.

What a ponce, he needs to man up and get in the real world.

The world where everyone hates you at work and you hate everyone and you hate work itself.

Someone send him some Brut through the post, he might find a pair then.

<laugh>
