We'll see. Personally, I get the impression that your owners don't think Nigel's up to the job, so he's on borrowed time. He signs good players, but that's largely down to Walshy and once signed, he's not that great at knowing what to do with them(he has absolutely no plan B, though if it makes you feel any better, I don't think Bruce does either). He alienates players and he alienates fans, that's not a great way to manage a club, though I hope I'm wrong and he stays in charge for many years to come.
Nigel did a good job for us with what he had to work with - and whatever reasons he gave for leaving at the time, it boiled down to how much cash he was going to get paid. Put simply, he whored himself to the highest bidder - LCFC in this case. I think most sensible people said when you accept the cash he accepted, success was vital. Now it's not happening he's on his way. That is football Don't feel sorry for Nige - he will have plenty of cash whilst he sits at home. Maybe when he's next approached about a job, he will be less concerned about the cash and more about the backing/support he will get from above. As for your next manager - you need someone who has a track record of success in this division and is available. How about Phil Brown

I don't buy into this. He clearly wasn't liked at Hull and as soon as Leicester came bidding he was off. He loves it down here.
