There a lot of barrack room lawyers on here. Everyone is entitled to an opinion but people need to engage their brains first, ideally review the facts of the case as they are now and then consider the law.
Yes the magistrate went on a while but at he same time he meticulously went through the evidence presented by both sides thus far, cited the statutory test and common law that governs bail (which is all the last few days has been concerned with) and then came to what was an inevitable conclusion, being that bail was granted.

There's no doubt he shot her. That doesn't mean he murdered her. However unlikely some may find it, he's innocent until proven guilty
