Still not getting involved BUT Opta stats show that Tottenham have had 3 bookings in the Premier League this season for dives meaning that Bale couldn't possibly have been booked 5 times for diving. Chelsea on the otherhand are currently on 6.

The defender kicked him in the shin and then put both of his hands on his head, as he knew he'd totally ballsed up.

No, he was a Saint. Then we bought him, cos they were skint. Bale dives. Defoe's dived this season and got away with it. Most of the bookings that Bale's received this season have been clearly wrong.
