So yeah. What are your hobbies.

I want to find something new to do that will get me out of the house and keep my interest up for a while. Hiking interests me, I don't know why.

My current hobbies aren't exactly healthy. I watch a lot of sport, mainly football. I love to cook, so much so I plan meals like some sort of weird addict. Used to play a lot of poker, live and online, not so much anymore because work has taken over. I try and play 5 a side but a lot of my friends have kids and other commitments so it's hard to keep it regular. Oh and I play a lot of computer games!

I used to play tennis years ago, kinda gave it up, I used to do kickboxing until it became too expensive to keep up when I became a student. My girlfriend does MMA and other martial arts training which she loves, it's something I've considered. I also like watching boxing and wouldn't mind doing some boxing training/sparing. I kinda want to get into home brewing but it sounds like an expensive, time and space consuming thing to get in to.

So yeah, I'm just interested in what hobbies you have and how amazing they are. Sound like I'm on some weird dating website reading this back.

I've just realized I don't have any besides going to Newcastle games/watching them on TV and talking about it on here <yikes>

I do workout, but I don't like gym-mania chap kissing himself near the mirror, or the freaks staring angrily at me while I do it  Hence I workout at home.

Chess, table tennis and snooker are three good indoor games. I used to do some smallbore shooting at an indoor range too, that was enjoyable and we used to have the occassional outdoor competition too.

Much preferred football and cricket though and only watch these days I'm afraid.

Family/local history. Involves sitting in record offices/libraries amongst fusty old books and documents, which does, I admit, sound extraordinarily dull. But I love it :emoticon-0111-blush.

And yoga.

But not both at the same time, obviously.

Should be able to fit reading in with yoga.

Reading, walking/hiking, swimming, cycling, fishing, kickabouts, writing, home cinema stuff, music, singing...

Then I had kids and hardly have time for any of that now! Looking to start doing some landscape photography soon.

Do quite a bit photography, always take a camera to the games and got loads of shots from each game.

Used to enjoy it more in the old 35mm days though. Used to need a bit more skill than the point and shoot of the digital imagary.

Try martial arts. Our family all do karate. Keeps you fit and good for the mind, body & spirit. You just have to find the right club as there can be the odd idiots.

Bit cold up there is it AB?

Was at a funeral the other week and somebody mentioned Rokkudan who used to live in the same area as the guy that was burried. He's supposed to be into it, or at least he was.

And that's why I will never disagree with any of his comments on the Toon...
