If you want REALLY weird then try listening to 'Gong' (After taking acid their music is allegedly even stranger but somehow makes more sense......or so I'm told )

Went to see them in Paris sometime in the eighties; couldn't have been more different from their studio albums. They played raucous 12bar all night, I didn't recognise one tune and I had 5 or six albums at the time!

Pierre Moerlen basically just got a bunch of musicians who happened to be around when he recorded his albums, different line up on most of them, but interesting musically. Must dig one out and give it a spin.

I did try to lighten up this initially rather sensitive thread with some photos of attractive Dutch female football fans? I turn 60 this year, and if these are alternative music bands everyone is talking and raving about, I've never heard of any of them - now there's the rub.
