Do you have to take everything so literal? Frustration at the situation, not at the club (well, not Fulham)

Thought you were leaving the forum for a while anyway?

Alright sweetheart, you should take your own advice! Given your usual whinges I took it as I read it, and responded with a dab of humour. Apologies.

I just gave the threads I knew would piss me off a wide berth, I'm going nowhere.

More from Sky Sports (following on from what C58 posted)...

We are hearing Fulham are considering a move for Lyon striker Bafetimbi Gomis as they look to bolster their attacking options before the 11pm deadline.

Isn't he one of the strikers we tried signing last summer?

Steklenberg prevented from boarding plane due to Roma being unable to find a replacement. No Butland and no Steklenberg. Well done.
Stekelenburg has been completed and totally stitched up by Roma. I can't see why he'd want to play for them after they elected to humiliate him by stranding him in mid-air. Surely the situation now doesn't make sense for anyone?

This is Gignac all over again. Clubs should be prevented from being able to pull the plug at the last moment.
I also don't understand why UEFA allow a 6pm deadline in Italy but 12am in the UK? At the least it should be 12am everywhere (meaning that Italy would close their window at 11pm GMT).

As has been said, he's their second-choice keeper so even if he's now third choice, he'll only be there for emergencies. And if he refuses to play then he'll only do himself in. I agree with you though, Roma appear to have come off worse.

we can get him in the summer

Let's hope so! He'd be an ideal signing.

True, but why keep an uphappy player as a backup? At the least with Fulham he'd put himself in the shop window, so they can recoup a bit more of that £8m outlay.

You'd think so wouldn't you! It'll be interesting to see what gets said in the press over the next couple of days.

Haha, I saw that and wondered if there was any truth in it, he's not exactly a big name (is he?). Having said that, would he recognise Tomas Rincon? :D

Having said that, I would rather have Rincon than Manolev. Both are midfielder/right backs, but Rincon seems more stable than Manolev!

Haha, Barry Manolev (which I would be calling him if he joins) doesn't exactly have a ringing endorsement does he! I'd rather Rincon too. He's younger as well.
