i don't know why Hull city didn't announce the deal yet!

They are probably waiting to see if we get anyone else in and do a group announcement. Elmo is also on his way back.

Could be waiting for them to actually arrive here, presser, photo of them with their shirts the lot. Maybe another signing to come in, maybe we'll pull the plug on the deal if we manage to get a different striker (DJ) in now Elmo is back.

Hull City
It was reported by numerous sources in January 2013 that English Championship side Hull City had expressed an interest in signing Gedo on loan until the end of their season after beating off competition from Liverpool, Spurs and Man Utd. Hull City owner Assem Allam was Egyptian himself and had recently struck a deal with Ahly to be a link up club with Hull City. On January 30, 2013, Hull City had finalized a 6-month loan deal for Gedo and fellow Ahly teammate Ahmed Fathy with the Championship side paying £5 million Egyptian pounds and 2 camels for both of their services.
 
According to Elmo's Twitter account all three are now at City - Elmo's twitter reads:-

Gedo and Fathi have joined #hcafc on loan from Al-Ahly until the end of the season & will join up with the rest of the squad next week.

With this 'deal' Bruce has actually said out in the open that he only has an interest in one Egyptian and even that one was a long way off being a deal. so as you can see both are matches fit despite the domestic league sitution in egypt since both played with Al Ahly in CCl 2012 and with Egypt in friendly matches
