There's normally some little titbits though. You get something from the club along the lines of "we're talking to them, be patient, bla bla bla..." With this 'deal' Bruce has actually said out in the open that he only has an interest in one Egyptian and even that one was a long way off being a deal. And once again, I was told by someone involved in our transfers that this isn't happening.

I think the Club - SB, Papa and Baby Allam - are like the proverbial 'oysters with lock-jaw'. Nothing has been leaked; it's all been rumours and whispers from elsewhere - not commented on by our side. Frustrating as it is for us fans, it makes a lot of sense from a business point-of-view.
