Mark Robins is on his way out as Barnsley boss and will be told his fate in the next week.
The former Manchester United striker has been shocked to find out his budget is being slashed, and the Oakwell outfit's owner is looking for new investment and now a change of boss.
Former Hull supremo Adam Pearson is among the interested parties as Patrick Cryan attempts to sell up.
Why, when he was reported to be wanting to invest in City, would he want to invest in them? Did the Allam's refuse his offer (if their was one). Or would he feel their set-up is a more attractive proposition?

Who would you get as manager then Tiger Steve? I find comments like this pretty shameful and ignorant, I can't see many managers hauling us out of the mire like Pearson has. Maybe if we have a crap season next year then you can complain.
At least one part of that story was accurate, Robins has just been sacked.

I just glanced at the article and didn't realise he's been given 12 months notice, so he still could bring Macca in.

I always found it strange how he was here as an employee after once being the owner.
He'll go, good luck to him, and in a few years time we'll only remember the good job he did the first time he was here, rather than the disastrous second spell.
