Why, when he was reported to be wanting to invest in City, would he want to invest in them? Did the Allam's refuse his offer (if their was one). Or would he feel their set-up is a more attractive proposition? I think this is a nothing story.
Who would you get as manager then Tiger Steve? I find comments like this pretty shameful and ignorant, I can't see many managers hauling us out of the mire like Pearson has. Maybe if we have a crap season next year then you can complain.

I just glanced at the article and didn't realise he's been given 12 months notice, so he still could bring Macca in. How the hell must he feel, preparing for next season knowing he's sacked at the end of it, regardless of results?

I always found it strange how he was here as an employee after once being the owner. He'll go, good luck to him, and in a few years time we'll only remember the good job he did the first time he was here, rather than the disastrous second spell. Oh, and if he wants to take Barmby as a player-manager he can do.
