i'm not shocked about this news, there were rumours about this a couple of months ago, he signed a 3 year contract with them, there was talk of him replacing Fergie at United but that's not going to happen for a while.

If SAF is going to stay on for 2-3 years then Guardiola could still replace him.
 
its a good choicr. bayern are germany's equivalent to man utd. the german league has also vastly improved and there'll be less politics to deal with than in three most feasible Pl jobs. he might join man utd after Saf leaves (unfortunately, from a liverpool perspective)

If he joins Chelsea/City i can't see him making the switch to United when red nose retires.

I can considering he doesn't get along with anyone at Real Madrid.
 
I'm genuinely not shocked that Guardiola has gone to Bayern Munich, i heard this rumours a few times a couple of months ago, everyone seem shocked, don't be, it was coming to be fair.
