WE might be the bottom club but we are a London club and that goes a long way. Our owners make Roman at Chelsea look like a pauper. TF has said if we go down we will survive finacially (although we all know we want to stay up). Anyway whoever the player chooses he chooses and there is nothing we can do.
I would also say it was a bit of a dig knocking our 16k gates as you must have a short memory as i have seen 8K at Newcastle, so less of the digs because over the years in Prem/Championship/Lge 1 our gates have been pretty consistant.

what annoys me about these people is they think because they dont understand someone they are either wrong or mad and resort to insults. The fact is so far we are being proved right
Just let it go man saying things like get your fact right is very provocative and will get a response everytime. One thing I've learned is that this board is like the house of commons - people argue and people find loop holes in every argument they get into including me, however I like it.

The two clubs aren't in the same position though are they? Whatever your bias, that just isn't true. We're NOT bottom of the league (yet anyway) and we're currently in a European competition.
Take away all the stuff about 52k fans, strong French contingency blah blah blah – I'll concede that being in London has advantages too.
But there's no point in trying to suggest that money hasn't played a telling role in his decision. I wouldn't expect it any other way.
You can call that mercenary if you dislike that OR you call it opportunistic personal economic sense. However, what does it suggest about footballing ambition?
