QPR have spent a boat load of money already, look at the situation they're in now, doesn't always work that way.
Everton survive on a shoestring budget, they fare pretty well under the circumstances.

That's bollocks and you know it. We need players who're concerned about the club and it's position. We need players who'll fight for us every time the shirt is pulled on. We need players who want to play for us. If all he's worried about is cashing his cheque at the end of each month then he's not got the bottle/grit/steel/nads to fight for us and would be a waste of a shirt.

We will not smash our wage structure for anyone, and rightly so.
If he goes there to the bottom club, to play in front of 16,000 fans then good luck to him.
    We move on.

It's still early in the window.

Luke Edwards has just said Remy's agent is talking to QPR but it doesn't mean the player wants to.
Remember people.. Harry went to speak to him last week and he got snubbed.

My view is that Remy is in the Toon and his agent had gone to speak to QPR to see what their offer is.
    All part of the negotiation.

QPR intend on building a new stadium and are rich as **** basically so they can paint a very good sales pitch along with a nice cheque mate. Couple that with the crook that is Redknap and you've got no chance.

I'm afraid I disagree because players do play for the club they play for and the money is a bonus. Are you suggesting these players don't like playing and don't want to win? I'm tired of people brainding player mercenarys because they all go where they feel the get the best offer and where the think the future will be brighter. QPR intend building a new stadium and have the funds to get right to the very top if they stay up. We will always be mid table on average.

No loyalty exists in football like it used to and it never will. None of these players are NUFC through aand through you cant buy that.

If the talk is true and he's joined QPR then good luck to him – we'll have dodged a VERY big bullet.

All this mad squabbling for players we have very limited knowledge of, that cost a fortune and have NO guarantees on how they perform – is madness.

Loic Remy needs NUFC more than we need him. He should be so lucky to come and play for this club, turn that down and you're not up to wearing the shirt...

I'm fine with players not giving two hoots about us as long as they're **** hot when they play! :D

If we miss out on Remy so be it. QPR will not be successful paying players like him over the odds. Rich teams buying great players and paying them ridiculous fees do well, rich teams who buy Remy types and pay them ridiculous fees go bust or at least alienate the rich owners... then they go bust. Redknapp's in town guys <diva>

Not upset as long as we have a few more deals in the pipelines. Remy barely gets a game for Marseille, he's not the best player we've ever wanted or been linked with in the last 2 weeks (never-mind years), so we can move on quite easily.

Rich teams do well if they sign good players and he's a good player.

Colo will defo leave now in my opinion and were ****ed!! It's going to get really bad press for us and the media will be tasteing Redknapp hoop over it.

Even if he's at the level which would bring them success (which he isn't... I'd take Demba every day, and Cisse of this season probably!), they'd need 10 more players at that level. High wages means they can't get rid of their ****. We are so much better run right now, you're mental if you think QPR are in a better position, or have potential to be.

If they get him he is getting another 3 big money signings this window so if they stay up they will be throwing more money at players every window you know. They are rich as ****. All this nonesense about the club being run means nothing to potential signings anyway they just see the league position and a cheque. We are so well run we look like going down, have the smallest sqaud ever and our captain wants out.

Anyway all I'm saying is that QPR are as good an offer as us on balance if you ask me. Both clubs look like going down but one has french players the knows and the other is offering alot of money and a clause. I bet we won't offer a clause.

That's a fair post. Obviously you boys are in nowhere near the sh*t we're in but money does talk unfortunately in this day and age.

There was a suggestion that we'd cut our losses in January and try and offload some of our dead wood for the Championsh*t but its clear now that the Board is gambling all on staying in the League. Its an almighty gamble and I hope to God it pays off.

@MarioBaloltelli: It looks like Loic Remy has chosen QPR over Newcastle. He'll be going for a medical soon. The first thing they will be checking is his head.

I'm going to stay away from the news for a week after this.

We play QPR away second last game of the season so hopefully we can relegate the **** then
