Great signing, particularly when you consider our current position. Two French internationals in a week. I know the board are much maligned, and rightly so, but that is pretty impressive work.

It could still go wrong as he is rumoured to have a heart issue and the medical might be a stumbling block. Hope we get him and yes its at least a sideward step since the loss of Ba but I aint praising the board just yet.

Want to see him holding up the B&W shirt, with a big smile on his face. Two international quality players is too good to be true, but it seems to be just that..... TRUE.
Now we need to sort Mr Coloccini out and get him a first rate CB to partner. Looking brighter and it's no more than we all deserve to be honest.

Not heard much about Douglas of late, do you reckon he is off the radar now ?
What centre backs do you think we are looking at ?
I don't mind it going quiet if it means we are playing our cards close to the chest, but not sure at present who are next targets might be.

The word is we're looking at defenders from France, Holland and Belgium.

As far as a CB goes, can we please set our sights a tad higher than James Tomkins?

I've no reason to believe he's better than Mike Williamson frankly and he's certainly not as experienced as Willo surely?

Keegan always said you buy better than what you've got. That doesn't mean breaking the bank as Carr has proved recently, but there's fat use in bringing in average guys who will swell the squad numbers but need to be replaced in the summer.

Ok, my guesses are:

France - Sakho, Yanga-Mbiwa, Isimat-Mirin
Holland - Alderweireld, Douglas
Belgium - Kouyate,

Red - Why would Sakho leave the richest club in the world to play for us?
Green - too young to be our first choice. I'd defo take him and someone else though
Blue - As Cove has repeatedly told us, he isn't good enough

Id take them all in a heartbeat though, anythings better than Williamson

Smart money would be on you guys moving for Diego Lugano, likely to cost nowt, and was a very, very good defender before PSG.

Problem is, that's 1 CB, you need at least 2, maybe 3 if Colo leaves.

Maybe Remy & Cisse click and you start winning 5-4?
