so the management merry go round is in full flow and phil parkinson is now being linked to the blackpool job . Im surprised he is being linked despite Bradfords cup heroics . i have always held him in the same company as hately and molby . reckon blackpool will nosedive under his leadership. on the other hand bradford are doing ok in the league and of coarse he has his foot in the door for a wembley final , how hard will it be for oysten to get his man

Sky Sports sources understand Bradford City boss Phil Parkinson has turned down the chance to talk to Blackpool.

There's still a long way to go yet but if you add Wolves and Bolton to the list we've been very fortunate to see four of this seasons favourites for promotion go into meltdown.

Met a couple of Blackpool fans in a WMC before the New Years Day game and they said (as if most didn't know already) that the Oyston family are a right set of rouges and no one wants to work for them..

Good on Parky I wish him and Bratfud well..

According to the local rag Sean O'Driscoll is now the favourite, meeting with Oyston in the next 24 hours, other names in the frame are Keith Hill, Gary McAllister & Billy Davies.

Couldn't give a toss about Parky. He was useless as our manager.

I never used to rate Parkinson after his time with us, But He's gone up a bit in my estimation, Seems to be doing things right at Bradford.

Well he doesn't have the option of putting Delaney on the left wing now.

Parky at the time with us was out of his depth having been headheaded to do well for us by AP - his interviews were very nervous affairs as I recall and he panicked early doors with an expansive style of football after losing a 2 goal lead at home to Barnsley and never recovered from it.

Good luck to him thoug -he has rebuilt his career, first at Charlton and latterly now with Bradford - he sounds an altogther much more confident and composed manager

Had McPhee (or was it Duffy) not have missed that sitter at WBA and we'd have won vs Barnsley then Parky would have had a much different career with us

I couldn't give a monkeys toss if it was him or his coach, the welsh bloke, who got them up. We should've had another season of consolidation at this level, yet he nearly took us back down.

I love it how our crap managers are remembered more fondly than our better ones. Browny & Taylor gets slated on here despite their success, yet Parky gets all the admiration.
