What the hell is happening at Blackpool. They could be set to lose another manager @SkyFootball: Blackburn have made an official approach to Blackpool for manager Michael Appleton. http://t.co/90Zuv827 I say go for Baptiste now while they are in confusion
Who the hell do Rangers think they are? http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/20963963 They better not come here. They can **** off to Welsh or Irish football. Or stick to the Sunday league there in now
^ I have no idea. They would be below the conference here. Also, i dont particularly want to be travelling away to Scotland for a game.
Well i have never been away with City, but for the rugby the furthest so probably over to Dublin for the heineken cup semi final v Leinster
I once went to Albufiera to see us in a pre-season friendly, bizarrely it was against Sunderland. The furthest I've ever been to watch a game, was to Saitama, Toyko, to see England v Denmark in the World Cup and I only went for the game, I was only there two days.
Mine would either be Newcastle/Sunderland or Plymouth (also Exeter) not sure what the distances are from Leicester by comparison
Southampton was the furthest for me, but i very rarely goto away matches. Went to Merthyr Tydfil to see relatives once, ended up watching Rushden & Diamonds play there the same weekend, my dads a crafty one!
I went to the 2010 World Cup and attended all England games. What a ****ing waste of money that was... I spent years saving for that! For a Club, the furthest I've been would be either Portsmouth/Southampton/Bournemouth/Brighton - couldn't tell which was longer! - I usually go to every match of every Season, and only miss out for certain things such as family visits or Weddings. The usual things the missus won't let me miss... Which are very rare.
Furthest i have been. Cant be bothered to dig out the map but is either Blackpool, Burnley, Preston or Southend
Talk of Paul Ince going Blackpool Surely that would be nothing more then a desperate attempt to keep Tom Ince
Blackpool's the further of those from Leicester. For me, probably Newcastle...I think. I have a lot of friends there so it used to be a fixture to watch out for. Never been to any of the south east clubs either. I have been to a Celtic match, but not against Leicester. Also been to Sparta Prague, Barca and Valencia. The main road in front of Sparta's ground is ****ing mental.
I've done Portsmouth twice, and I'm not sure if my second trip there was the longest (we conceded twice in the last two minutes to lose 3-2 in a game that contributed to our Premier League relegation), or if my trip to Charlton on the Official Supporters' Bus was. It was certainly shorter in terms of miles, but thanks to an accident in East London there was mayhem on the motorways as far North as Peterborough, and so we didn't get there until the 75th minute
