Sunderland financial loss last season £24.1m.

Your wage bill is 82% of your turn-over, your owner has written off £19m in loans and you still owe him £50m.

You're living way beyond your means and are still in the bottom half of the table, lets hops Ellis doesn't get bored of his little play thing or you lads are quite literally ****ed. <ok>

Ellis Short is not owed a penny, he has converted his loans to shares in a club he loves.

Has your owner been paid back for bailing out the Tigers. I believe that Administration was knocking at the time?

How much was the club worth £20m.

Oh, by the way, I think that you'll find that, excluding transfers, Sunderland made a trading loss of £6m.

Mechanisms are in place to prevent the Europa League hopefuls from falling into a financial abyss should the publicity-shunning Short suddenly fall out of love with his recently acquired new toy - not that there is any indication of that happening - but whatever the future may hold, the owner's current importance cannot be overstated.

In a little over two years, he has transformed £19 million of his loans to the club into shares, made further loans of £22.4 million and £6 million, in addition to promising his continued support.

For the record, I don't give a **** about Sunderland, you're the one who's on the Hull City board(not for much longer hopefully).
 
Most Tigers fans overrated Michael Turners ability when wearing the Black & Amber .He was a good solid defender with ability to be useful from set pieces but "England material" NEVER. He stood out like a beacon in the very POOR defense we had ,especially in the premiership.For the amount of last ditch ,body on the line blocks he had to make in every game is evidence to the fact his positional sense and reading of the game was lacking.I've watched most of his performances this season in a Sunderland shirt and yes, he has been injured a lot and may have carried nagging problems,but he still was very slow and lethargic and at times wandered around aimlessly as the defense was cut open by nippy opposition forwards. I liked Turner as a player for us but give a lot of credit to Wayne Brown for his ability to make Turner (and Dawson) solid in the promotion season. I personally think both Gerrard and Turner are of similar mould and neither is real premiership material.Hull City in my years of support have had several superior central defenders.Neil Franklin (even in the twilight of his career ) never had to "Panic " defend ,Gerry Bowler was always calm and commanding ,Tom Berry ,Harold Meens and Brian Garvey were as good if not better than Turner and I'm sure other long term supporters could recall others that they preferred . Turner was for me like Myhill ............great when we were spending as a lower league team say 50- 100 thousand quid as a common buying figure and buying for the present rather than the future .We've now tasted the "Premiership" and we likeee so lets try to buy for the future and take a chance on youth and potential ............Go for it Nigel and let's see were it takes us.
