Could you see Turner in this side? As captain?

By the way, what is Michael up to? Still with S.land?

Had quite an injury ravaged season at sunlin. A lot of the fans have been criticising him of late but he's clearly been rushed back by a desperate and massively overrated manager.

Would love to see Turner back as club captain, doubt we will pay £30k per week for any player now though

Yes, quite easily. Him and Ayala/Chester would be top stuff.

BUT he is in the past of this club now, and it's important we move on. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Have Sunderland had a lot of injuries or something? I don't recall hearing Bruce mention it...

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/13310284.stm As well as losing Darren Bent to Villa, their injury problems are considered to be one of the reasons for their slump in the 2nd half of the season.

Aye, he doesn't half love an excuse. By playing those with ridiculous injury problems and then rushing them back he gets the ready made excuses

There's no need to be rude about it, at the time i didn't think you'd made a sarccy response, hence my response. I'll take better care to read your posts next time before posting a reply.

We haven't a chance of getting Turner back, unfortunately.

Steve 'the dinner lady' Bruce is a whinging, overrated, twat of a bloke.

Whinging he might be, overrated? what does that make Pearson, an experienced Premier League Manager? Please tell us his very impresive CV !
Now, twat of a bloke? I'm not sure, I don't know him personally, all I do know is that Sunderland will finish in the top ten of the Premier League and Hull will still be playing poor Championship football next season (and probably for several seasons to come)

Bruce has spent a fortune, yet you're still only 8 points off the relegation zone. You may finish in the top ten, as there's been a lot of poor teams this season and you have two of the poorest left to play, but you still need to win, while others lose, before you do.

It's a different league, Sunderlands NET expenditure this season has been less than £6m, not bad when you consider that we had strikers worth £31m !

We still have one striker probably worth as much, if not more, than than your entire squad.

Be realistic, you are in the second tier of football, dealing in petty cash and unknown second rate players. I wish you luck, enjoy your fantasy world, Div 1 may even beckon next year!
