Eggs are fantastic. Never keep them in the fridge. Don't buy supermarket ones, buy from soneone locally (butcher or local shop). Poached eggs for the win.
Great news Joe S, Meowth, Gay Bacon etc. The new pokemon games have been revealed which is the start of generation six.

I don't have a 3DSand also the Pokemon have tended to look ridiculous since generation two. The perfect game would be with the original 150, or perhaps 250, in a Skyrim-style world.
I can dream.
I may disappear suddenly today (stop cheering at the back) as I am having this Infinity thingie fitted. I wish I hadn't said yes now as I hate change to technology...they sent me a couple of e-mails asking me if I was ready citing techie stuff. No idea! Also say it can take up to 3 hours...sorry, 3 hours to fit a plastic box. Really worried now.
Fran is right, never keep eggs in the fridge. They last for weeks at room temperature and they have the dates on them anyway nowadays. They don't keep them in the fridge in the shops so why would you at home? Anyway, I always start with cold water and time 3 minutes from when the water is boiling properly, not just occasional bubbles, and I am rarely disappointed. I would guess that TSS always uses the same saucepan and water volume which is why he gets consistent results doing it his way.
Can I just say... oh dear..? In my experience, it doesn't work that well. Looks good, but appearances aren't everything. Also, make sure the BT engineer does a good installation. The engineer who installed a friend of mine's should be kicked off the register of network engineers. Sloppy was best compliment I could come up with. I had to reinstall the thing myself.
In my experience of seeing other people's joy with the major companies and their broadband products, I would say none of them have anything to smile about. In all the years I have had broadband I have had about an hour downtime in total, and my ISP rang me to tell me it was going to happen. I have since had to change to Cable & Wireless, but the reliability has remained. I have known others to go for days while Virgin, SKY, BT, etc.., have their various hiccoughs with their services. I don't get 24mps or 50 mps. I get 8mps and ultra, ultra reliability too. At this moment in time, no household actually needs much more than that, unless they're streaming HDTV into three different destinations, and then it would probably be enough. So if anyone is thinking of upgrading from 8-10 so as to experience 24 or 50mps, just so they can download a film in half the time, don't bother. The reliability will be hit as a casualty of the speed increase. As they say, you'll repent at leisure.
Sorry to rant, but I do get annoyed with these media companies. They promise but they often don't deliver. Once again, Virgin are chopping down more trees in order to tell me what I'm missing. I DON'T WANT IT, RICHARD..!![]()
Was it an Openreach employee or a contractor The contractors are **** and giving bt a bad / worse name !!!!!!
My two were efficient, turned up early after first phoning, and when it couldn't go where I first wanted they shifted the tv to hide all the cables behind. No complaints.
Ah, now there you have me, No1. Let's say he was a contractor, because I always want to give people, and even companies, the benefit of the doubt, and I was hugely surprised by the poor quality of the installation, when I saw it. It was the first internet connection this friend had ever had [late to the IT party], and he hadn't long had the computer either, so he didn't have a yardstick with which to measure. Actually, he was computer illiterate [yes, there are people out there who still live without them] and so it has been a long and steep learning curve.

Good. You had two..?![]()

They would have been openreach engineers . No contractors on the IOW yet..........
Death in Paradise back tonight. Loved the first series...clever plots, funny and good characters.
