Piskie I really don't see how you can say you would rather have Ramsey over Holtby. You must have seen Holtby play all of 2 times! It's quite clear you are gutted he has chosen us over you, something which is becoming fairly common and are trying desperately to convince yourself that he's average and no improvement on what you have. Obviously none of us know how he will perform in the premier league, but he's the Germany U21 captain and that's good enough for me right now.
I'm a Schalke/Newcastle fan and obviously have seen a lot of Holtby, Great player, I just hope Huub Stevens knows who will replace him. I reckon Alex Merkel is the best option.
We only mod this board so can't comment on how others run their's. On here we feel that foul mouthed abuse of another user is not only unacceptable but it also creates arguments which people not involved don't want to have to read.
Whoever says Aaron Ramsey is better than Lewis Holtby, I hope your club (unless Schalke or Newcastle) get drubbed for their next 5 games.

That's plainly not true though. Simply making something up to try and convince yourself of a point is silly, so it doesn't really make a very good analogy. I am biased towards Arsenal, I admit that. And whilst I haven't seen much of Holtby I've probably seen more of him than most Spurs fans, so at least I have some basis to make a judgement.
I think he's a decent enough player, but as far as Arsenal goes I don't think we really need him as we've got Wilshere, Arteta and Cazorla who are streets ahead. In my opinion Ramsey is a better player - although still not at his best - and we've got Eisfeld coming through the ranks, who has been likened to Mario Gotze.
That's my opinion, I'm not sure why some people are getting so upset about it ?
Probably because it's so predictable and you're posting it on the Spurs board. No offence, I understand the point you're trying to make and that.
Eisfeld has been likened to Gotze? Not really a shock as he's a product of the Dortmund youth system and plays a similar role. Bale used to get compared to Giggs because he's Welsh and left footed, it's just laziness and nothing to get carried away with.
