Think he got involved with the cockney ****er, not too sure about that though, and his career went downhill a bit after that. Having said that I don't think he did too bad at the end of last season.
Wont be long before he,s playing at a higher level, he wouldnt have many opportunities here with the squad we now have. A young lad should be playing week in week out, he will now be doing that and will start to grow as a player. A good move for the lad in my opinion.
Was one of Jimmy's disciples. Thought he was billy big bollocks but other than having a half decent game at the drubbing at Anfield, he's never set the world alight. No-one other than 2nd div Chesterfield showed any interest whatsoever. It may be my cynical nature creeping out but if he was half decent, I'd expect at least 1 Div 1 team to have a sniff. That said, wish him well. Better than the usual conclusion to our YTS which is Mickey Ds
Yup, he did get mixed up with that pikey **** for a while but to be fair to him, he soon saw the light and escaped. I think he really pished off brucey when he refused to go out to portsmouth. Maybe and just maybe if he had gone there and did well, he might have got another chance here hey ho, in football as in life ........ sh*t happens. Hope the lad does well
He was never going to get another chance, whatever loan he took. His wage went to Alex. That's not a criticism, merely a statement of fact.
He's a very good defender, he's held his own at PL level and he'll be fine at this level before long. Never had a proper run of games I know but he's never really been at fault for goals or anything and he's good on the ball too. I think SB must have an issue with his attitude and I don't think turning Portsmouth down helped.
At least the players you mentioned were not on huge wages. Can someone work out how much Oli, McShane, Ghilas Kilbane (and Halmosi?) were paid by us whilst plying their trade elsewhere - I'm sure the list goes on with some of the ****e Duffen and Brown brought in for our premier league campaigns.
