You did allow this thread for rumours. It is after all the rumour mill <cheers>

I don't actually believe the Cody Mac story but just making sure the mill has more fuel as all <ok>

Gills PegLeg - you are correct and certainly nothing wrong with it. Appreciate your input.

Sometimes the ageing maddening mind goes off track or is it the free will in me that does not conform, however, I have checked with my psychiatrist and he said I'm fine to continue <ok>

Well looks like i was right. No future for good Gills youngsters. Essam,Evans plus others released . Dack loaned out. Only Davies staying for now, will he get used.

Gills players that I feel could be shipped out in one form or another at some point this january....

Hawkes (already out on loan)
Flitney (already out on loan and hopefully moved on)
Evans (send on loan)
Essam (shame but send on loan)
Haysman (already out on loan)
Brunt (already out on loan)
Brown (already out on loan)
Carter (send on loan)
Hare (send on loan)
Parter (send on loan)
Miller (already out on loan and)
Montrose (loan/permanent deal)
Payne (may well go permanently)
Dack (possible loan)
Strevens (loan/permanent deal)
Kedwell (loan/permanent deal)
Birchall (loan but hope he stays and grows with us)
Jackman ( shame but loan/permanent deal)

even though we're doing just fine, feel we could have a mix going out.

looks like a few of my predictions are coming true already, except a couple that have been made available on a free....such as essam, evans I did hope would stay. do think connor essam will be a loss...shame, be it a sell on or not !

As long as Payne is not sold i will be quite happy. I to am gutted at losing Essam as he was brillant last season , at least there should be a sell on clause.I think Flintly is going as he wants to be a number 1 not 2.

Luke Cawdell has just tweeted about Cody McDonald.
Busy day &#Gills. Allen on Cody McDonald: "Im not saying yes or no...I don't know Cody that well or his situation at Coventry"

I think this speaks volume, normally when it is not going to happen you deny it but to say I am not going to say Yes or no is a way of saying no comment which usually means it will happen, well I am hoping that is what it means.

He has gone on to say.
Allen has ended interest in David Wright now Gregory has signed. "We were very close but couldn't get to the figures necessary"

I remember saying somewhere, I think on here and possibly twitter, that I had doubts about Wright as soon has Legge came in. Although with the power of hindsight a few things now make sense, I believe I was just in denial of the Mad Dog inevitable decision (Essam).

<laugh> - I'll never be given the all clear. I like being different though, if I conformed it would be the real sign of madness. I actually enjoy it when people give a difference of opinion, just look at 'gfc1234' and Montrose! Although there is bits of me that agrees with some of his sentiments. 'Lenny' is probably my favourite, I'm sure he is just saving his words for now, probably does not want to make another managerial error  btw where is my friend 'alwaysright' I'm sure he has something to say on all this, probably still recovering from the excitement of Southend, either that or he has been kidnapped <whistle>

Keep up the good work everyone <ok>

After port vale today signed chris birchall, they have now stated that they want to sign at least five more players for the final push of the season, as the likes of gillingham and fleetwood were looking to do with the bigger budgets that they have at their clubs.

noticed west ham utd have just signed an 18 y/o Sean Maguire from Waterford in Ireland who they view as having most aspects a striker needs to succeed...maybe M.Allen & A.Hess can work there magic and get him on loan for a bit more experience with us at some point ?
