Shiiiiitttttttttttt.....

We're going to have to wait for a half-time pint then, when presumably you'll have taken your top off despite the inclement weather.

I'll have ex amount of tops on plus ex amount of sweaters, don't want to risk not being up and about to celebrate our great win due to catching a cold..

This might make all you Toon fans laugh. We turned down the oppourtunity to sign Ba in 2005 along with Watford, Barnsley and Swansea. Not the first time we turned we've done that though. In 1978 two young lads from Newcastle came down for a trial with us. We gave one of them a contract who turned out to be Steve Bruce. The one we turned down though was some fella called Peter Beardsley. Don't know if you guys have ever heard of him <whistle>

Does sound a bit familiar, thought he was a ball boy or something.

Oh wait, that was Pete's son. Pedro was a great player and was respected by almost everybody that had any interest in football. We still see all his great games and goals on the coach to the away games. Could never get tired of watching them.

CHELSEA are understood to have rekindled talks with Newcastle United star Demba Ba over a possible January move.

The Chronicle understands that after a initial round of talks proved the unproductive, Ba's representatives have gone back to the Blues to discuss the matter further.

Ba has hit 13 goals this season and has been made a lucrative offer to stay on Tyneside.

But without any assurances from the striker over his future at Newcastle the Magpies are braced for a potential exit.

I think it's pretty certain that he will leave.
