Just thought I'd be different, that's all.

Yes we were **** today but it was 3 points.
Our season depends on January now so I'll reserve judgement till Feb 1st.
Our recent performances have been much improved to I'm quietly confident we'll come good, especially as, on paper we have less daunting fixtures to come.
All it takes is a couple of wins and it all can change.

Don't forget how many other teams are bogged down in the mire too....

At least we can laugh at this though. We really were totally hammered! We have asked for this sort of smashing all season. Sad thing is - we have actually played well in the last few games. We deserved it more in October/November time
 
Im not down, we were decent today just tired by the end. A few signings could transform us.
 
50% of the team weren't **** and played very well. Krul, Simpson, Perch, Coloccini and Santon were all awful though. Something has to be done about this defence.
 
I agree, let's discuss this matter in July on the day the championship fixtures come out

Other than villa we are the easiest team to beat in the whole league. Away from home it's like we expect to lose. I was at fulham and couldn't believe the lack of reaction to their second goal. No inquiry from senior players about who should have been picking people up. Just a few shrugs then restart the game. I thought we should have at least got a draw that night at craven cottage. Tonight was ok in parts but once again the reactions to most arsenal goals were shrugs and acceptance rather than clenched fists and shouting. Not sure what the answer is but we need one quick cos we are in it.
 
I'm angry our defence just wilted like a penis confronted by Subo's backside, but my overall feeling is one of complete and utter heartbreak... We played so well in the first half, and were giving it a real go and looking like we could get a point... How many times are we going to do this and lose? This is my lowest point as a supporter(and I realise I'm lucky to say that!), I'll freely admit. I can't see what we can do more to win games, because while it's easy to say "defend better", these players simply aren't capable and have proved it this season. January needs to be one of buying in bulk and serious serious quality. Nothing else will do now.

When we went down, I just accepted it, we really were a poor team, a collection of once brilliant but now fading individuals... This is just sickening forcing myself to watch games every weak not getting the luck and conceding so many... If only I could be so backwards I could gain some perverted pleasure from it, but I just feel so down. Why can't the bastards just not score so I can accept we're a poor team and be comforted by it, rather than score so many yet still inevitably lose?! It just sucks <wah>

I mean, this is how earth shattering the last 15 minutes of that game were... I was already writing a comment in my head about how this could be our first 11! If there's a god, I ****ing hate him... Might as well, he clearly hates us <laugh>

A note to other posters if I may.... let's not create 10 of the same themed threads please as these will be merged (not edited or deleted but merged) as we don't want to clog up the board with duplicate threads.
 
We played well for 70 mins and awful for 20. The net result is that that is simply not good enough for this league.

Some encouraging signs and many worrying ones.

which proove we're incapable of producing the goods twice within three days unlike Arsenal who only played once
if we wern't creating chances, I would be more worried
