I wouldn't be too distraught if Garcia went back to Oz! He's a championship squad player at best. Thanks and toodleloo Rich.

There have been some negotiations with Richard but I believe he has been offered a year extension to his current contract at Hull City.
There are others like Lucas Neill, Marc Schwarzer and Harry Kewell who have also declared their intentions to finish their career's in Oz to give somnething back to the game that has made them very rich people. We have a 'salary cap' here supplemented with what we call a "Marquis Player" allowing a Club to bring in one player over the cap - Robbie Fowler is a typical example who has adapted to the Australian lifestyle and loves it here.

fowler scoring many goals? used to love watching him play...

I'd be ****ing gobsmacked if that amoral mercenary ****hole Kewell went anywhere that wasn't paying him a bomb.

I think it's important that we keep Garcia next year,. He's a much better player than most people think, needs to sort that knee out though.

Looking forward to the pre-season comings and goings, unlike this time last year we don't have to fear for the future of the club, it was about now last year that A Pearson was suggesting we should wait for a couple of months to get a new manager because of the dire straights we were in, puts things in perspective for all the moaners and Pearson bashers out there, how far we have managed to come from this. As for players out, Mcshane, Bullard and Kilbane are at the top of the list, and we should get some money for Oli as he's a good pro and has quality. I don't agree with getting shot of Mclean, he deserves a full season to prove himself, Devitt has only just come onto the scene and deserves a bit more time. As for Cairney and Cooper, I think they had their heads turned by some of the mercenary types at the club brought in by Brown and Duffen, they might do well next year if they have their feet back on the ground, Pearson needs to get through to them that the only way is down from where they are. Atkinson hasn't shown enough for me but maybe they could do a seasons loan for him somewhere. I feel sorry for Harper as I think he is somebody whose face doesn't fit for some reason and he will be on his way out. Koren is 50/50 for me, he might stay and might go, he might respond to being made captain for next season if that is a tactic to keep him at the club. If not he will be on his way out maybe. I can't wait to see who we get in but a key factor is going to be getting the wages of Bullard and co. off the books, if we can't manage that then we will struggle to keep rebuilding but I have faith in the Pearsons and Allems to sort the situation out. UTT!

He's been linked with a move back to Oz several times in the past year(TigerRoo can probably knows more than me on that front), he's an Oz international, so if he does decide to go back, I suspect there'd be plenty of clubs interested.

If he can improve his fitness i think we should give hima 1 yera extension. Don't know the length of del he has been offered?

Options we won't take up - Belaid, Amoo, Akpan.

Players we'll try to move on - Bullard, Olofinjana, Ghilas, McShane, Kilbane.

Players who'll be released - ***an, Gardner, Duke, Atkinson.

I agree with OLM inj his original list above, I expect Koren to go too along with Mclean, These could generate 2-3 mil, plus Bullard, Oli, Macca, Killer and Ghilas brining in another 3-4 mil.

In coming I would like (and partly expect)
Manonne or Guzan (ideally on perm poss loan) 1.5m
Einhoff - Free
Dugeon - £300k (done deal)
Ayala - £750k
Hobbs - £1m
Danns - free
Cover at RB/CB - Dont know who, possibly loan
Waghorn £2m
plus two wingers, either free agents, loans of under £500k each
Total outlay of around £6m means we could pretty much break even in our dealings, whilst still reducing our wage bill
On top of this I expect Cullen and Cooper both to go on loan again

Rob Koren has no plans to leave the club.NP doesn't want him to leave the club. Those two factors mean that unless something fairly drastic happens over the summer Mr Koren will be back playing for us next season.
As I've stated on here before we need some experience in the team and he brings that ( and plenty more) to the squad.

UTT.
