We'd get tonked off Ajax. I watched them against Citeh, very good on their day.

But then there is a trip to the dam? :emoticon-0175-drunk

Anita would fancy that undoubtedly.

FC Viktoria Plzeň (Czech Republic)
Fenerbahçe SK (Turkey)
FC Steaua Bucureşti (Romania)
FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk (Ukraine)
KRC Genk (Belgium)
FC Rubin Kazan (Russia)
Olympique Lyonnais (France)
S.S. Lazio (Italy)
FC Metalist Kharkiv (Ukraine)
Hannover 96 (Germany)
CFR 1907 Cluj (Romania)
Olympiacos FC (Greece)
SL Benfica (Portugal)

That's the opponent list, draw in about half an hour's time. No easy draws - maybe Genk the best due to location/quality?

Genk is basically a 15 min train ride from Brugge.

Hope your lot dont get drawn against Lazio after their fans disgraced themselves home and away against Spurs.
How many points better off would you be in the league if it was not for playing in the Europa League this season?
I bet it has cost you a couple of wins and possibly an injury or two.

To be honest we've played a reserve side in the majority of games with a mix of fringe and youngsters. Its undoubtedly cost us points though mainly because of the impact on preparation time. Its really showed in our defending. Hard to quantify the points but a fair few I suspect.

I have no hesitation we'd get tonked. But it would be a good tie over two legs and of course there is the dam. Just tell the missus I'm off to Rotterdam.

Galatasaray v Schalke

Looking at those fixtures all the British teams are screwed. Underdogs in all the matches, Celtic would have had a shout against alot of teams but Juve are are monster this season.

AC vs Barca looks good on paper but given how AC have been this season I expect Barca to cruise it.

CL looking like a very interesting competition this year.

Only an hour to go until we get the furthest possible away trip, everyone got their passports ready? How quickly do tickets go on sale for the European games?

Kluivert is involved in the draw, maybe he will finally do something good for us?

hmmmmmm Metalist? Dont know much about them so cant be the greastest team. Travel could be a bit of a problem for fans and it will be intresting to see if their fans are any better than the Serbians or Italians.

European CompetitionsIn the 2006–07 season, Metalist finished third place in the league, qualifying for the UEFA Cup 2007–08, for their second appearance in a UEFA competition. They were drawn against English club Everton. The first leg, away at Goodison Park, ended in a 1–1 draw. Everton won the second leg 3–2, eliminating Metalist.

Metalist's next European competition was the UEFA Cup 2008–09 season. Metalist beat Beşiktaş 4–2 on aggregate in the first round to qualify for the group stage. Here they were grouped with Galatasaray, Olympiacos, Hertha Berlin, and Benfica. Metalist finished top of the group, beating Galatasaray, Olympiacos, and Benfica, and drawing 0–0 with Hertha. In the Round of 32 Metalist defeated Italian club Sampdoria 3–0 on aggregrate, setting up for an all-Ukrainian Round of 16 tie versus Dynamo Kyiv. After losing in Kiev 1–0, Metalist won the return leg to win the match 3–2, but were eliminated on the away goals rule
