No we don't. We'll only owe him it once he's provided the service his contract demands. He gets run over by a bus tomorrow we don't need to pay it out. If we owed him the money and he got run over we'd be due to pay it to his estate.

Yep, QPR will be worth about minus £30M now. (In their last accounts they were minus £15M and losing £14M a season. Repeat it and add in the near £1M fine they've been given)

Do we know any bus drivers?

I can't see Harper getting the captaincy unless we miss out on a lot of signings. His position is one of the most talked about positions when is comes to summer recruitment. There's been at least two players with experience linked. Harper hasn't even held down the position this time.

The captain has to be someone who the manager sees as, ideally, playing every game. Even if Pearson has more respect for Harper than a lot of the fans do, you can't see him either through quality or Injury record, being a 46 game a season man.

He's an employee, if he died we wouldn't pay his wages to his estate, he would no longer be working and we would no longer be obliged to pay any wages.

Even if he picked up a career ending injury tomorrow, there's a £1.6m cap on the amount we'd have to pay him.

I've still got that transit that we were going to use to abduct Folan from the training ground a while back........

or I can get his address in the Algarve if that helps?

That's what I said. The original claim was that we owed him £4M. I was saying we don't owe him it because if he dies we'd not be due to pay him it.

Really hope he isn't going to be named captain, if he was then that pretty much states that NP plans to use him often. Him and Evans are the most average midfield partnership in the world I swear.
