3-0 down? Useless ****ers. Great chance to equal a very decent away record. Are the players wearing flip flops and sombrero's?

Disappointing that we're justing pissing our great away record down the drain. Poor end to the season this. At least it'll give the management staff something to work on over the summer.

Very disappointing, no way to end the season. We may have very little to play for in terms of league position, but you'd like to think we'd at least have turned up and put a shift in and defend this away record. Unfortunately, unbeaten records usually seem to be ended with comprehensive defeats. Would like to have gone into the summer on the back of a positive result, looks like NP and co have plenty to mull over before next season starts.

we could have scored a couple - Mclean headed over bar & Fryatt was stopped one on one by David 'I'll get off my sofa to get some exercise' James..

at least the fans sound like they're having an end of season sing song..

It sounded like Walsall away in L1.

To be fair, as much as I'd ave liked us to get the record I'd much rather that with nothing to play for we didn't have anybody going out and getting a serious injury. We're already without Stewart for the start of the season, we can do without Chester, Koren, Fryatt or a couple of the others out there joining him.

He came on when we were 2-0 down, he's not a defender, he wasn't at fault for any of the three goals, he played no significant part in our loss today.

I don't care if he ****ed your wife, if he spat in your face, or ran you over, your irrational hatred of him is getting really tedious.

How old are you? I'd hazard a guess at 6.

Nice to see you using big-boy words like 'tosser'.

I take it you've had another bad week rent boy? Not to worry McDonalds are always on the hunt for staff. Perhaps when you've mastered the basics, you'll be allowed on the fry station. Happy to help.....loser.....

What a lot of childish caustic comments. Grow up the lot of you.
Glass 'half empty' or 'half full' argument - did we lose a record or did we set one? We 'equalled' one so that should be an 'achievement'.
With regards to the puerile comments about our teams performance can we just bear in mind that all professional footballers, donning their Clubs shirt, go out on to the pitch determined to give it everything they have got - nothing less. It may look like they are not but they are simply being outplayed, out-jumped, outpaced and in some cases outclassed.
We do not have a very good team and have overachieved a little this season after a slow start.
We have little or nothing up front. Despite his 110% effort, McLean has not got it at this level and neither has Cullen or Simpson. Matty Fryatt had a scoring record of about 1 in just over three games when he was with Leicester and has a 1 goal in every 2 and a half games with us. This is the best we have but it only equates to 18 goals a season. We need much more.
We have had goalkeepers in and out like a fiddlers elbow this season - hardly commensurate to a solid defence.
The same applies to our back line which has had more changes than a drag queen.
Our midfield has again be subjected to injuries and has hardly been consistent.
No. We didn't finish well and Bristol City outplayed us on the day.
It will NOT be easy as some people think next season as we have still not improved anywhere nor do we look like improving.
If you are supporters then why don't you show it with some sensible debate. How would you feel if you supported Lincoln and had Conference football to look forward to next season?
Cheer up chaps, we have come through our first season back in the Championship and have not done too bad.

My point was we should have had players busting a gut to equal a best away record in this league and then next season beat it. We did neither FYI. It was an end of season game, but plenty to play for loan players perhaps wanting contracts, unbeaten away record, and financial reward for the club for finishing higher up the league.

We achieved non of the above because the players were on holiday mode!

I cannot agree with you mate. Do you honestly think a professional footballer would go on to the pitch in 'holiday mode'? C'mon!
Not a good day for our team but suggesting that 11 men were all in the same 'aw stuff it' mood is ridiculous. If you were the Manager or team Captain would you put up with it?
    Of course not.
We got outplayed on the day and that's all there was to it. Thank Gawd this didn't happen at Wembley!
The players know what's at stake here - it's their living.

To be honest, I think it happens all the time. I can remember lots of games where the players seemed to be simply going through the motions at the end of a season. It was almost certainly Matt Duke's final game for us yesterday, yet both Burnsy and Swanny commented on him not looking remotely interested.

I'm not suggesting that there were 11 players who didn't care yesterday, but I think some had their minds elsewhere. I suspect Amoo and Akpan already knew they weren't going to get deals, I think Duke knows he's finished, I think Gerrard has one eye on his imminent return to Cardiff and his potential involvement in the play-off's and I think even Koren might also know he's moving on.

The players (in my opinion) were definitely more pre-occupied about their holidays than the current job in hand, it was so frustrating seeing them not being able to string a simple pass together, give up running for the ball and just watch it go out of play, or just watch Bristol play football rather than close them down or get stuck in. Fear of getting injured for the summer? That might be a bit harsh, but was annoying. If the fans turn up, the least the players could do was put in a big effort to finish on a high.

That being said, I still had a good time even though we got well and truly beaten, Duke was almost Kamikaze coming out for the ball.

Onwards and upwards now, can't wait for the fixture list to come out. Got a long wait for that though.

What record did we equal? If you are talking about our away run we set a club record and fell one short of the divisional record.

certain players let the fans down yesterday, up at stupid o clock to make the effort, the least they could have done was looked a bit interested....
think pearson might have been taking the piss out of us as well, with those subs, and random formations and shapes...at least the beer afterwards was ok..
