£4 million for Debuchy? £4 million for Douglas? Pull the other one...

I think we could drastically improve our form with just two players. 1 winger (whether signed or created in the aggregate), 1 CB. I would very much like to see Debuchy come in, and think he could play RW for now, with Ben Arfa on the left, or even have Raylor (when fit) LB, Debuchy RB, Ben Arfa RW, Santon LW. It will be interesting to see if Debuchy wants to leave a **** Lille team for a **** Newcastle one... Surely not signing him has alerted others, so I think it's more likely we'll be signing Messi right now. Still, we do need 2 players, very early on as well. In a perfect world we'd sign 5, but the X Factor still exists, so it obviously ain't perfect.

The challenge for top 7 is all but gone now looking at the fixtures, but we could still sneak top-half.
 
Not sure that some of those valuations are that credible, plus if our poor run of form continues we are not such an attractive proposition as we once were.
Ashley will need to loosen the purse strings and l am already waiting for the excuses as to why we will be okay as we are, or the old chestnut, we tried and we couldn't get them in.
There are other clubs looking at these players
Debuchy has always wanted to come and hopefully that hasn't changed, as for the rest, who knows?

Heard that Messi and Iniesta were both excited about the possibility of playing for us.

These guys shouldn't even get paid for this ****, who the hell wrote this!!
Gudelj didn't even had a good season, NAC Breda has been bottom of the Eredivisie for the past 3 years. Hasn't even performed in the Dutch league, let alone in the EPL.
And Douglas... don't even get me started about him...

I've heard from a very reputable source that written in to all the Barca contracts is a clause only allowing the players to leave for the us provided we pay a negligible fee.

Hey Pulp, l reckon that buying our new signings a Negligee each is gonna be a trifle too cold, especially in January, so how about a nice fluffy "Onesie" each. what happened to those Black and White striped things that were advertised not so long ago, should have a stockpile somewhere. Lol

I saw that they would catch on so I bought the whole supply. I'll negotiate a fair price with MA for them.

Can't have our guys suffering from the cold.
