But I know how to turn you off so I win. You can never beat the system Roo but you can throw a spanner in the works.
What do we think about the plan to scrap the Europa for a larger Champions League? The name is daft and this would make it worse, so that would have to go. Would also take a lot of the drama out of the last few weeks if say 8 EPL teams qualify. We'd be a shoe in for that at the moment.
You don't have to be win anything to qualify and it's not a league, they should just change the name to seomthing better suited, like Money Cup. As for the merging of the tournaments, there are better way to raise interest in the Europa League than the ones they've used and scrapping it is wrong. UEFA should be working to undo the bastardisation of the 2 competitions rather than furthering it.
Why don't the FA just set up a competition open to all. That would be fairer any team could enter. They could call it the FA Cup!
Didn't know what you were all talking about... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20523405 ...do now! Why does it take years to talk about it? can't even get a poxy camera in a goal frame organised quickly! believe it when I see it.
It took them over a month just to work out whether Lazio fans were monkey chanting or not. It'll take them ages but it'll be another step towards a European league.
You think that's bad! Visiting an old Brighton Golf Course I looked in the visitors book. In 1889 someone suggested they place a seat at the 9th so that players could take a rest. It's a very hilly course. There was a reply from one of the committee in the same week saying they were looking into it. One hundred and six years later there was a comment in the book from someone suggesting they place a seat on the 9th. There was still no seat when I visited but a member told me they were working on it.
Our youngsters can qualify for the group stages of the Nextgen today. Wolfsburg play Anderlecht and any result other than a win for the Belgians will see us go through, despite our next and final fixture being on the 13th of December. Mon the Germans! 5pm kick off, if anyone's really bored.
The England U21 team has been drawn in a favourable looking group for the Euros next summer. Group A: Israel (hosts), England, Norway, Italy. Group B: Spain, Netherlands, Russia, Germany.
I think they will be soon TMT. we're doing well considering the injuries, IMO. A bit more strength in 2 or 3 positions and we'll have quite a dynamic squad. I really hope we take advantage this January. If we do, I think we'll go far in the Europa, even if we struggle with the prem. (due to how tight the top 4 is)
