What annoyed me was that pre-Prozzie coming on the balls went in high and once Prozzie came on it all went to feet by and large. Prozzie is ok with his head for those that were @ the Ipswich home game.

As for the thread header, Faye and Oli are big men ? <ok> <whistle>

Oli made Proschwitz look like The Hulk on Saturday! I've never seen a man of his size get bullied off the ball so easily

I know. It would never have happened if we still had Ian Ashbee in his prime playing.

I think he will. But i feel for Cory Evans who was playing really well and got dropped @ Birmingham. For sure Evans should have started on saturday. But he will be back. The competition for places is gaining pace now. Rosie wont be rested for his injury as he does not want to lose his place. Now that is the kind of player we like here.

Agreed. If it was another team like Burnley then i would also drop Koren who was almost as bad.

Big men who can actually use their height to an advantage and allow us to be threats from corners and crosses. Oli and Proschwitz don't seem to be the more physical players that you'd expect them to be. Oli would be so much better if he threw himself around a lot more, got into some tackles and jumped for a header.

Faye seems to be the only person we rely upon to score from set pieces. Sometimes Chester will pop up in space but we're missing that area of goals where we could be scoring from set pieces regularly.

We never really replaced Turner or Cort in that respect.

But when is he our best player? Last season?

This year he's been a very average midfield player. Gets stuck in a little bit (except Saturday actually) anonymous half the time and very occasionally offers something going forward. Nowhere near as good as he was last season.

    Fair enough, I wasn't there.

I'm just not sure he's been involved enough this season at all.

I think sometimes he can be absolutely brilliant and sometimes he can be mediocre. He put in his best performance in a City shirt vs Cardiff IMO. He sometimes seems like he doesn't do much because he isn't the sort of player who runs himself ragged, but it's usually him who does the incisive passes out wide or through the middle. He does a lot that most people don't realise. I think this Season, he has begun to defend more, get stuck into tackles which is different to last Season.

The worrying thing about that is he actually had one of his "strongest" displays for us in that respect, and he still achieved that.

my biggest wish when marney was celebrating like a tit was that he was still playing, looked around our team to see who was going to give him a kick in, all good players but a bit soft round the edges.

:emoticon-0175-drunkPissflaps, school boy error of mine there re saying mickail smith played for p'boro. Obviously should have said Brighton. The point is still the same. MS bullied out defend and has played a blinder in the games I've seen him
