Could quite as easily make a thread titled "the please don't bury your head in the sand thread" mate. In reality the general consensus should probably be somewhere between the two.
However Southampton have just got their first clean sheet of the season, we have one clean sheet all season and one win in eight. Our performances are getting worse by the game and when the clock hit 80 minutes today it looked like we actually gave up. F*ck I hate football sometimes.

Completely this, Pardew has ran out of excuses and for me the team didn't even look motivated today.

Gotta agree with ACS, It seems a case of the weight of expectancy affecting our players. we can't blame pardew for the lack of signings we so evidently need, only Ashley can open his wallet. Ironically feeling like ranger instead of CISSE might have been a plus today
We have beat Spurs and the mighty Baggies in that time, without getting out of second gear. We do have innate quality obviously to have as many points as we do whilst playing poorly, and no money for a "top-manager" right now, so no point jumping on Pardew. Of course, theoretical discussions about who would be better are standard forum crack, so I have no problem with people proposing different things. Just think everyone should try and see it as a poor spell we'll come out of, because thinking we're ****e and always will be is not going to help your health!
We are in desperate times which is unlikely to improve at Stoke on Wednesday. Watched today's match and we continue to lump the ball up despite the fact Cisse constantly offside or unable to hold the ball up. I wouldn't say we're doomed for Relegation, but for me personally, even being in a hairs breath of relegation is bad. And maybe my standards are too high, but that is my personal opinion, this club has too good a stadium, fan base, our owner is a billionaire and we're in the knock out stage of the Europa league, but still in the league we're dogshit, we fail to even look dangerous, Cisse is clearly shown that he is either not good enough or cannot be arsed, and to be honest I don't blame injuries, because when we didn't have these players under Hughton we where playing far superior football, infact we had worse players in there place.
Pardew, should be given till the end of the season, or until an appropriate replacement can be found, because the man is for me tactically inept. Long ball football is not good football and doesn't win games, unless you have players who can do well with it. Sign Carroll or change that ****. Cos it's pissing me off.

Actually feel that was it not for tiote's red against Sunderland, we would have had a far different run.
