Amos was highly thought of and all. No doubt one mistake by Stockdale and the meffs we have as fans will be on his back.
Even if we signed Casillas or Buffon some of our meffs would still get on their backs after they made a mistake.
Which they would, all keepers do.
As I have said before Amos is a decent keeper and will improve with time. I honestly wouldn't be concerned should he remain our number one.

I know Amos hasn't made just one mistake and I have been to more than one game.

plenty of people saying any new keeper would get jumped on after 1 mistake simply isnt true, amos is causing concern for a number of shaky performances not just one.
not many people are even saying hes a bad keeper, just that promotion teams are built on a solid base and if we are serious about promotion we need somebody more reliable and safe, and i agree.

I haven't helped him at all. He seems to be of the opinion that we should all think Amos is great. I disagree, and therefore I'm in the wrong, despite our manager clearly looking for a new keeper? Hardly.

Given is paying the price for Guzan having a good season. But its just not Given who sits on the bench. Villa sit Darren Bent on the bench (when fit) and they wonder why they are in the bottom 3. You used the word 'Pissypants' because it's a juvenile word to use, if the cap fits. I wish Amos well, I really do, I hope he goes on to achieve full international honours - he needs more experience at a club with nothing at risk, like promotion. That's it.
