Codswallop! It is entirely because of Abramovich. Someone above mentioned "long term success" - what exactly is 1 Champs League, 3 Prem titles, 4 FA Cups and 2 League Cups since 2004? That's more than a trophy a year and they'll be up there again this time around.

My heart will not bleed for multi-millionaire Di Matteo and any Chelski fan doubting the chairman should shut the ffff up. Would I take that much success at the Toon if it meant I could only see one manager a year at the club?!? Hell yes. Because it might have meant that, come Jan/Summer I'm pondering who comes in, not waiting to crack open the champagne because we don't sell anyone....

And did anyone think Di Matteo was doing a great job?! Looked inept a lot of the time to me. Chelsea are bigger than him, the fans should sit down in the knowledge their 'man' was given a chance, and didn't take it.

Find it hard to see how that last statement can be made.

Arrived at a crisis club. Won the Champions League and FA Cup. Currently 3rd in the table and 4 points off first. Seems like a reasonable case of chance taking to me.

Throw in the 8 game unbeaten run at the start of the season having radically changed the style of play (as was the owners want) and you have a rash and unfair scenario. He never wanted him was the real reason as you could see when delivered the CL, Roman struggled to really congratulate him properly. And lets not forget he has achieved all this while having to deal with John Terry creating problems, and then Ramires and Luiz adding to them this season.

Absolutely scanderlous. This guy wouldn't ever be satisfied unless he won every trophy, every year. The only good thing is that whichever manager takes over they are in for a big pay off. RA may have plenty of money but knows the value of nothing. Wish he would just F..k off back to Russia.

RDM won the CL but not in the style that Abramovich staying he thought it was a fluke. Id take a fluke to see us win the CL.
Abramovich has piles of money but no class.
Benitez is in the frame <doh>

- Rafa until the Summer when Pep becomes available

- Pep until Nov '13 when he realises his 'pass to Messi' tactic doesn't work without Messi

- John Terry takes over as caretaker player/manager and instantly transfer lists all the club's black players.

- Summer '14 Dennus Wise gets handed a bumper 5 year contract and asks for the money upfront before mysteriously disappearing, forcing RA to look for a new manager.

- Mark Hughes joins in Oct '14 and spends £200m on Darren Bent, Danny Murphy and Jimmy Bullard.

- Neil Warnock steers Chelsea to a record breaking points total in the Championship before being sacked for being 'too laddish'.

- Sep '15 sees Sam Allardyce finally given his chance at a big club but finding Chelsea sitting 10th in the table after 1 game, RA remembers he hates hoofball and sacks him.

- Graeme Souness is brought in to steady the ship and sells all the club's flair players in favour of Barry Ferguson. With one game to go Chelsea are 18th so Souness is sacked so they can 'rebuild for the future'.

- RDM is brought back nearly 4 years after his unfair dismissal much to the delight of the fans. He wins the final game of the season 6-0 against Champions West Brom meaning the club finish 17th and is immediately sacked for allowing a club of Chelsea's stature to become involved in a relegation battle.

-2016/17 sees RA appoint his son as manager who goes on to be bought the Manager of the Year award for finishing an impressive 8th place with a team assembled on a £500m shoestring.

- Abromovich finally gets bored, buys Man Utd and brings his song (along with 90% of Chelsea fans) with him but is admitted to hospital after trying to sack Sir Alex.

- Following administration, a crowd of 500 turn out to watch a rain-soaked AFC Chelsea hold Yeovil to a 0-0 draw in 2018's FA Cup 3rd Qualifying round, managed by a suspiciously tanned Dennis Wise.

Got to say heard it suggested that Di Matteo might get sacked this morning and thought if he goes I'll be surprised but it won't happen before the Noordsjaelland game. Next football news I heard Di Matteo is sacked, absolutely staggering I think he was temporary manager for more games than he was permanent manager.

Not that Di Matteo will be short of a crust of bread but I don't think he'll be out of work for long. There's bound to be teams interested in taking him on plus he'll be a popular pundit in the media.

BREAKING NEWS........ Benitez has been sacked by Chelsea for not winning anything since he became manager.
Apparently they have so far had to pay out £75 million in compensation payments for sacked managers so far. What a f..king joke Abramovich is.

It just shows what a completely immoral twat RA really is.

6 months ago, Chelsea were in dreamland... winning the Champions League & F.A. Cup - arguably two of the biggest trophies available.

Abramovic won't be able to throw his money at Chelsea forever... the financial fair-play rules will see to that.

He's sacked a really talented and young manager who I believe could have gone on to achieve great things.

Now they've given a chance to that fat sack of Spanish wine who couldn't get a job at Tesco for the last 2 years!

Chelsea... <laugh>

The Sun have run a story saying RDM was sacked for not starting Torres as instructed... Now, it is the Sun, but it's made credible by the fact they've brought in somebody with their tongue so deep in Fernando's arse he could rest it on the end of his nose...

Let's get this straight, Torres was great about 5 years ago. He's been ****e for over 2 years now. Snaffling a couple of f-ing tap-ins made some pundits excrete sexual moans, but most of us have retained the objective view he's just ****, and the subjective one that he looks like a pre-pubescent 14 year-old girl who's just been told by daddy that she has to get back from Jessica-May's party by 9pm. All he's proven in scoring a couple, is that anybody could score a few in the premier league if they played long enough upfront, ANYBODY. Benitez is not f-ing Jesus (well he's Spanish and they tend to have a **** load of names, of which Jesus is usually one, but he's not the son of god one)... There's no resurrecting that career. However, Roman has spent so much money on him, and could quite possibly want to see him play well, and to that end it's perhaps more likely RDM was sacked for not getting "his best" out of him, than outright not playing him.

Other than that, he may be involved in a Russian syndicate who put all their money on "first sacked manager", or else simply have noticed it's the players in the background who seem to run the show, not RDM.

Quite a lot of talking points there, but I'm afraid I'm off to the game as soon as I put another sweater on.

By the way, it's Hey Sue silly!

Enjoy man! Chilly tonight. Perhaps a third sweater my be needed <ok>

Bitter cold but I did put an extra sweater on and had the help of a young lady sitting next to me to keep a bit more heat in.

The game did nothing to warm me up and we were wanting in many departments. Missing HBA and Cisse isn't looking too good for Sunday now. Saw a few of the regular travellers to the away games, both going into and coming out of the game and nobody was overly full of optimism.
