My first time at KC:- (High up in the West Stand, there was a perishing wind!) Why does a big slice of the East boo Amoo when he's on the ball? McLean look ineffective. Belaid looked very good, if sometimes a bit lightweight, but fine touch and good passes. Daws looked slow - both he and Harper spent too long on the ball Palace fans made a better noise than ours, a lot of the time. There's v. little atmosphere in West.
They don't, they are saying/chanting/shouting Amoo with an elongated o (Amoooooooooooo) Which could sound like boos I guess, I certainly hope Amoo doesn't see it that way. West Stand is definitely a stand you want to avoid if you wanna do some singing/chanting.
That's good about Amoo...I thought he, too, looked ok - but both he and Belaid looked to be kinda lacking in confidence. Both need a start against Brizzle.
He laughed about it at Forest away ( his first game ) when he came to the corner flag and everyone ''Moo'd'' and he has since said he loves it (i cant find the article though) i think the Mooing was the only noise we made on Saturday.. shocking atmosphere
The Burnley game when he made his debut was the best, he was taking his training gear off to come on as a sub but NP kept changing his mind over and over again so Amoo was getting dressed and undressed repeatedly and kept looking like he was about to come on, every time there was a murmur of mooing going round the stadium. Eventually when he did come on the entire stadium erupted into MOOOOOO and as soon as that died down I caught the end of an east stand chant which finished "With a moo moo here and a moo moo there." I loved that. It was also good when Burnsy was trying to describe Amoo's goal at QPR but was drowned out by enormous mooooooooos.
