So Medro's argument is that attendances are down because Rangers are dead but attendances are up despite the recession?
Please tell me I've got the wrong end of the stick here

Dear ****ing God.
So Medro's argument is that attendances are down because Rangers are dead but attendances are up despite the recession?
Please tell me I've got the wrong end of the stick here

I won't waste any more time explaining simple ****ing concepts to morons.

thought you wouldn't

Again, why are you bringing up unemployment ?
(unemployment) is one of the factors that is used when deciding whether we are in recession but it is not the only or main factor
You said it had little or no affect on attendences, so please continue to stick by that frankly ridiculous assertion
Simply put attendances are down because Rangers are not in the SPL

No answer again no doubt.
Russ you said you weren't going to bother with this argument anymore???

I'm not sure if you are reading this properly. 866,061 - 930,395 - 967,182 is NOT a decrease.
How much are this seasons CL ticket prices compared to last seasons Europa ticket prices?

You said peoples wages have frozen. Have Savco tickets risen dramatically?
The 2009/10 blip is due to 4 or 5 games where we had uber-****e attendances of about 24,000 (the end of Mowbray days).
Otherwise - thanks for proving my point. You've shown very clearly that there was a decrease of ~128,000 paying customers per season (~7,000 per game) when comparing 2008 to 2012 ie the recession- WHEN RANGERS WERE WINNING THE LEAGUE.
Fixed it for you.
I am a little surprised at this thread.
Dev, you're a bigger knob end than I ever thought you could be.

Savco's attendances are up because Charles Green is giving away tickets and lying about the numbers attending ibrox
So 2008. And attendances for seasons 2007-2008 or 2008/2009 (whichever - you choose) would represent start of recession - yes? So we've seen a decrease from either 1,067,449 or 1,095,740 (again - your choice) to 967,182. So either way a drop of >100,000..
Who said it was? I said there'd been a drop of since the start of the recession. As you yourself have just said - 2009-10 is NOT the start of the recession. .
My CL tickets were £35 a pop. Last season it was £26 a ticket for europa league. Obviously season ticket holders pay a few £ less.
Unsurprisingly, it's more to see Barca than Rennes..
Know this wasn't aimed at me but I'll answer (and I'll assume Savco (wtf?) are Celtic). Yes, season tickets and match day tickets have gone up this year. (roughly 5% for season books - depends on where you sit). There hadn't been an increase for 3 years previously.
"Simply put attendances are down because Rangers are not in the SPL"
Any explanation?
No, I thought not.
FAIL. You were neither winning the league at the start (2008) nor end (2012) of the recession.
I almost feel sorry for you - you keep making such a knob of yourself.
Have a wild guess. But before you do go back and start reading from page 1 ya thick bastard.

Sorry, mistype. How are Celtic "Sevco"...is "Pacific Shelf" getting too tiresome to type?
