What you on about give it up? he wasn't even the one singing **** the pope. You can't even get the story right you daft **** and you were supposed to know more about it than me It's amazing isn't it? one person out of 4 jailed for allegedly the same offences.
The sheriff said “Anybody who participates in this disgusting language should be stopped. In the Highlands, we have many people of different faiths. Inverness in particular has a strong immigrant community, whose religion is the one you were deriding so publicly. I have no idea who taught you to hate these people or why you hate their beliefs. I do not detect a true level of contrition or a realisation of the seriousness of your position. A signal needs to be sent out that such behaviour will not be tolerated in Inverness.” So yes (once again) he was jailed for his singing. And no, he did not a previous record, nor were the reports bad.
Yet he didn't jail the others, why not? Quite simply because he was acting like a ****ing reject and probably deserved to be jailed.
I don't know why he didn't jail the others. Maybe they said sorry? Maybe they weren't quite as vehement in their bigotry. I don't much care to be honest. Doesn't change the fact that this boy was jailed for his singing
I've been to court plenty of times I know they can be arseholes but I don't for a second believe that he didn't deserve it. Its the law now whether you like it or not is not important.
Judge: "Do you have a criminal record son?" Defendant: "Eh, naw" Judge: "That's me convinced" MD = comedy gold
Are you ****ing thick or just play acting? Way to take something and give it a completely new context arsehole.
Is unemployment the key decider in what a recession is? This has nothing to do with unemployment and you are the 1st person to mention it in 12 pages. This is getting really desperate now, so here, i'll help you out as you seem to be somewhat confused. A significant decline in activity across the economy, lasting longer than a few months. It is visible in industrial production, employment, real income and wholesale-retail trade. The technical indicator of a recession is two consecutive quarters of negative economic growth as measured by a country's gross domestic product (GDP); although the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) does not necessarily need to see this occur to call a recession. That's how recessions are decided, not by the "Unemployment" figures you dull bastard. People who are still in work have had their wages frozen for the last two years, sometimes 3 years but according to you that is of little consequence, they should still be spending money they don't have. Read Admiral Pure's post about attendences too, and for once in your life you may actually learn something rather than living in a bubble where Rangers are the centre of the universe and that all football downturns come about because of their absence.
The 2 negative quarters were FOUR years ago. We've been down this road. Just ignoring my post "wee sacks"...
The most recent negative quarters were not quite 4 years ago. We've been in a "double-dip" recession which has only just ended. The last quarter showed positive economic growth, the previous 3 were were all negative (ie Oct 2011-June 2012). http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-17836624 http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/...le-dip-recession-george-osborne?newsfeed=true
What are you hitting your head for? Were there two consecutive negative growth quarters in 2008? Did I say they were the only ones?
You went down it on your own and I waved goodbye. We have just come out of a recession........4 days ago. Techically we are out of it, but even an eternal optimist like Medro can surely see that 4 days cannot really put money in people's pockets. I personally have just had my first wage rise in 3 years, if there was no recession then my bosses are taking the piss.
That's because you were stumped. It was announced 4 days ago. But that'll mean positive growth since April?... Still dodging posts I see? ps. perhaps you should get yourself into a "recession proof" job, not such a dumb **** after all eh?...
Was I? Then the whole of the Public sector must have been equally conned then. I think not. Are you suggesting that there has been a massive change in lifestyle, expendable income and job security for the citizens of Scotland since April? If you are then you must live in a cocoon sheltered from the real world. Anyhoo, I forgot what you asked me, ask away and i'll do my best. And finally, you sound is if you are bragging about your job? Am I wrong there?
^^^ that is what I said, please (like you said earlier about big Pete Lawell) don't put words in my mouth.
You said 'the two negative quarters were FOUR years ago'. So you were either conveniently ignoring the far more pertinent fact that we were in a double-dip recession THIS year, or you didn't know. Either way, it was a dumbass comment
I wouldn't be in too much of a rush to make too many claims as to your intellectual prowess quite yet. There was a 0.4% decline in the economy in the second quarter of this year (ie April to June). So no, we haven't seen growth since April. You'd have known that if you'd bothered to look at those useful links I posted. And obviously it would've been announced 3 months ago that we were out of a recession if we had, err, been out of recession since April. But we weren't.
- Who said it was? I am making a point that unemployment rates were higher in Scotland quite a few times in the past few years yet tickets were still snapped up by Celtic fans. You claim the recession is the main reason for the drop in attendances yet at the height of the recession when there were more people unemployed and Rangers were still in the SPL you were selling tickets no problem. Again, who said recessions were decided on unemployment figures? Wages have been frozen? I'm guessing that ticket prices for Savco matches have risen dramatically? Who am I kidding asking you that, I've tried to get an answer out of you half a dozen times about ticket prices and you still can't come up with one. Living in a bubble. Listen to yourself. Savco's main rivals booted out of the SPL and there's a drop in ticket sales. That's understandable. But save yourself the embarrasment of rolling out the excuses like the recession is finally starting to kick in, champions league football etc etc etc. They've all been quashed.
